Wrong Treatment
Paresh chandra Mandal IP no;-IPC2.0047571 was admitted to AMRI on 29th/Jul/2011 17.59.02 under Dr. S.K.Todi.The microbiology report(order no:-460490/460815) states that culture shows growth of Acinetobacter Baumanni which is resistant to antibiotics like Pipercillin-Tazobactum(Zosyn) and Meropenem(Merocide).Zosyn was administered since 30/7 to 2/8 and Merocide was administered since 3/8 to 7/8.I am at my wits end to see how medicines resistant to my father were administered to treat Acinetobacter for eight days.Tigecycline(Zutig) was administered when the patient was on the verge of death. |
