                 <title>Pathetic service standards of Oberoi Motors Noida</title>

                 <description>This is with reference to my car Fiat Linea bearing registration no: UP16-AE-2968.  I wish to highlight the pathetic service standards of Oberio Motors Noida and misbehaving of Mr. Ranchan Paul*(Service Advisor) with me.  The above mentioned car was given by for accidental repairs (left side) to Oberoi Motors, Sector 2 Noida on 23/09/11 and has been received by me only on 23rd December that also with incomplete and shoddy work.   The car was handled by Mr. Ranchan Paul, who at the time of giving the car gave me an estimated repair time of 1 Month as certain parts had to be procured from Fiat, Pune.   After the 1 Month I gave a call to Mr. Paul and I was told that the work is over, however due to Diwali holidays the surveyor hasn't been able to come and insect the car. After a week I was informed by Mr. Paul that they had wrongly ordered the right front seat whereas front left seat had to be ordered. This was when I was told a week back that the car was ready. At this point I also spoke with Mr. Gopalan (GM, Oberio Motors), who assured me that they will expedite the ordering process and get the seat at the earliest.  In the last week of November I was told again that everything was ready and they are waiting for the seat, however for the time being they can put an old seat and replace the old seat once the new seat came. Mr. Ranchan Paul also assured me that the seat comes under metal part and I would only have to pay 5-10% of the seat cost as my car was barely 3 months old.  In the first week of December, I received an intimation from Insuarance company and they told me that I would have to pay 50% of the sear cost as it comes under plastic. I informed the same to Oberoi Motors and they said they will take care of this. InOn 4th December , I got a call from Mr. Gopalan himself apologizing for the dealay and assuring me that all the work is complete and I can pick my car on 5th Deecember and he will call me again to make sure that car is ready. However, I got no call from Mr. Gopalan and on me calling on 19th December I was told the car is ready and I can come to pick the car on 20th December.  On my coming to Oberoi Motors on 20th December, Mr. Ranchan Paul firstly showed me the wrong invoice and asked me to pay a wrong amount. Then on my asking about the car, I came to know that the car was still lying in their godown. When the car came and went for washing, several glitches were found:  1. The side bidding on left door was missing 2. The rear bumper was out 3. The front bumper cap was missing 4. The car was dirty from inside  All the above glitches were pointed out by me and on my discussion with Mr. Paul I was assured everything was done in 30-40 Mins. However, Mr. Paul came to me and informed that the left door bidding was not available and on further scrutiny it was found out that It was not even ordered. On my questioning this, Mr. Paul started yelling at me and said if its not there then he can't help it and he walked out on me. He left the showroom yelling at me.   After which I spoke with Mr. Kapil, who apologized for the delay and assured me that my Car will be ready by 22nd December. I spoke with Mr. Gopalan on 22nd December and assured me again that everything has been done and I'll get the car on 23rd Deemeber and It wont take more that 10 Minutes for me to take the car.  However, on my reaching the showroom on 23rd December I was asked to wait for 5 minutes and I was told that the car has gone for washing, but on my checking the car, I realized a number of things were still undone:  1. The rear bumper was still out. 2. The right door was still scratched 3. The left door tapes were missing 4. The glove compartment door was not fixed 5. The defogger wire was coming out 6. The front tires mud flap was missing 7. The car was extremely dirty form inside  I had to wait for more than 3 hours in the workshop, and all the above issues were pointed out by me. I was assured again by Mr. Gopalan that these above wil be fixed as certain products were not available in their stores.The fitting and cleaning were of pathetic quality, everything was done in a were shabby manner.  Now, on my driving the car for the last 2 days I have faced a lot of other issues.  1. The rear brake light stays on throughout 2. The car's top carpet has been shabbily fixed 3. Lot of vibration on driving the car 4. The car is hitting even the smallest speed breaker 5. Dirty seats and dirty side doors fabric  I wish to reiterate the fact that at the time of giving the car, it was only 3 months old.  I wish to seek an explanation for this unprofessional service standard that are being maintained by Oberoi Motors. If even after 3 months the service center can't give the customer the car in a proper condition then I wish to know why am I being charged for the services.  Not only my car is in a pathetic condition, but I had to face the embarrassment of getting yelled by your service personnel, even when he was at fault. I have spent so much of time &amp; energy in doing a continous follow-up for the last 3 months and even after that my car is in a pathetic condition.  Kindly look in to this issue and provide me with service which will get my car to the original condition as this has been a harrowing experience I wish to mention failure to address my concern will only force me to file a legal complaint against the pathetic service standards that has been given to me.   Thanks &amp; Regards Taru Gupta +919810722441  </description>

If my vehicle is EURO III then there is not availble of EURO III software to solve my problem.I have many problem starting from my first service.</description>

                 <description>Hi Guys, I too had a very very very bad experience with RNS motors Hosur Road. They had stolen my engine and as far as i know there is no technical guys in that work shop. They told some story for the engine damage and told that we will claim insurance and will reimburse..after all the insurance claim is not received and i had to pay around 60k for engine repair. I request never approach RNS Motors to buy any Maruthi vehicles..In this regard, I have given complaint to Maruthi Customer care also but they are also not done any favour to me and still i am fighting with them to get it resolved. Its a brand new swift vxi which i bought it in 2010 December and i don't know how the engine will be damaged..Here i will be giving completed details of my experience..My car swift vxi had fell down in the left hand side when i was driving in village limits. The road is a single road where left and right side of the roads are having deep ups and downs. After my car got fell down, both the doors got damaged and i took my vehicle to the show room work shop. they had repaired it and delivered after putting unnecessary things in the bill and the bill amount was too cost. they took nearly 2 months to deliver my vehicle for such a plastic replace parts.. I took the delivery and drove more than 1000 kms. For check up i called the driver of RNS Motors and i had given him for checkup..after sometime the driver called me and told that the vehicle has stopped in the middle of the Road and i approached show room people to know what exactly happend, they told that inside the engine one small part is broken down into pieces and it needs to be replaced. My Question, while repairing the vehicle they didn't found any problem in the engine and after travelling 1000km how come the engine will get the problem. As per my understanding, they cheated me very badly and they had stolen the engine for making money. they collected 59k from my pocket and they kept my vehicle for 3 months in the show room. This is my first car in my life and without spending much in my car i had faced these many problems with those idiots. There is one idiot called Chandrasekar(Manager) who has resigned recently is a number one Fraud and he doesn't know how to speak English and how to handle customer complaints..One more Fucker, Idiot, Rascal is Suresh Naidu, He is very much talented to tell stories to the customers and i think this guy has trained well in cheating people and not doing any favour to the customers. One day i will definitely want to kill that person and that much he has irritated me. Jagadeesh, he is the responsible for Insurance claims and he doesn't know the process of doing such things and simply bluffing people like anything that tomorrow, day after, like this... Finally My request is not to buy any vehicle from RNS Motors Ltd, which is a cheating company. Maruthi Company should withdraw the dealership from such an idiots otherwise Maruthi company will get bad name due to this and they have to take appropriate action to enable customers with all the problems which we are facing now. Please suggest me how to get it resolved and i am thinking to file a case against RNS motors in consumer court..Guys all suggestions are appreciable...Help me Please how to get rid of these...I lost nearly 1.2 lakhs in one year that too buying a new car..Shame... </description>

                 <description>I am regular customer of Mahindra &amp; Mahindra. i bought logan car in 2008.  On the date 20/08/2011 i give my car in service at Mahindra &amp; Mahindra's Dealer named Punjab Automobiles India Pvt Ltd, located at ahmedabad.  It was a rainy day when i was go to collect the car, so i did not check all the instruments which was in my car and this thing never happen with me in past as well.  after 2 months, i was on highway and get my type puncture. so when i see my jack, its not mine and its totally useless jack. i called to punjab automobiles India Pvt Lts and talk with customer relation manager named Avani, she told me that she check this issue and get back to me. then again i called her 3-4 time but every time she told me that she is busy with other stuff. today i called her and ask on this then she told me that they did not change my jack.   no one use my car rather then me in my house, then how could the jack changed. i remember that when last time i used it, it was perfect and working condition. my jack color is little bit yellow and the jack which i get in my car is different.  i try to find out complain form on Mahindra &amp; Mahindra's site but its not available.  please let me know, what i will do to get my original jack back.  Thanks, Pinkesh Patel.</description>

They obtained a insurance claim form from me and on my interaction the insurance people escaped their liability. The company people are silent over the warranty. It has a defective mechanism of inferior quality of air filter vulnerable to hit by stones during travel according to the road conditions in India especially in AP. I seek replacement of half engine by the company duly covering the warranty.</description>

                 <description>Respected sir on 11th i register an appointment for 1st servicing of maruti ecco. i received an sms to reach on 12th before 11pm i was their at 10.30am i was waiting their for one hrs no one was their to assist me to make job card at last i met mr patil (gen manager ser. dep) he allotted me a service guy surname patil...these guy really sucks he was showing me attitude he was not interested in me. I was telling him my problem he was trying to make my fun of it at last after 1hr he made my job card  he told me to take the back car at 3.00 pm when I come back he told me to wait for 15min I waited for him, after 15min I called him he made me to wait more 1hr at last my self went to workshop bay I was surprised an job card maker was cleaning an car I told him to make me free but still he was not concern with it. I was requesting him at last after 3hrs he took me to my car ,it was pathetic to tell u that my car was not washed properly he charged me polishing chargers but my car was not polished . When I asked him why so he told me sir I don’t want take ur car for servicing because I have already completed my target of the day. At last on my request he made my work done after 2hrs. From 3.00 to 6.30 pm I was behind him to make my work done. Their was an problem of fuel gauge meter he told me that in stock we don’t have it. You will be wonder that from out side I made a call to my car service dep. Immediately I took the vehicle to M/s. Gurudev Motors, Arumbakkam, Chennai Where I was informed that the cylinder head should be replaced at once. They demanded Rs 1, 10,000 for the repair  I shocked very much as the vehicle was purchased only 26 months ago. I cannot understand why the cylinder head met the repair with a very short period. I state that this is a fault of product.   When I intended to purchase the above vehicle some of my friends discouraged me not to purchase the vehicle as I have to meet repairs frequently. However I purchased the vehicle on having faith on your company.  In this regard, I want to register our dissatisfaction over the services of GURUDEV MOTORS for the past two years. I have some doubts whether the above said servicing unit may have changed Cylinder Head of My Car. Whatever may be the reason but the repair is relating to product fault. Hence, you are requested to replace the Cylinder Head. That after sales the service given by different agents of TATA is very poor, specialy Lexus Motor at Rampur. I have also got a Bad experience when I have sent to Repair my TATA SAFARI, So I want a clear solution of the same and request TATA MOTORS to take care of the SERVICE POINTS.</description>

                 <title>DEFFICIENCY/DELAY IN SERVICES</title>

                 <description>To, Tata Motors,  Ltd. 5th Floor, One Forbes,  Dr. V B Gandhi Marg, Kala Ghoda, Fort,  Mumbai – 400 001  Sub: Non- compliance of defects in Tata Nano. I have a Tata Nano LX Car having Regn. No. GJ 6DQ 3847 purchased from M/s Twins Wheels Pvt. Ltd., Baroda (Guj) in September, 2010. At The time of delivery, I noticed that due to vehicle vibration, the inside mirror is vibrating causing the view is also vibrating. At the same time, it was informed there. But they ignored asking that this can be done only at workshop. When you will come for 1st service, you inform there. At the time for 1st servicing (14.10.2010), I informed the following defect: 1.	1st service 2.	AC giving high noise. 3.	Inside back mirror vibrating due to vehicle vibration causing noise and back view not clear. 4.	Side mirror not clear. Out of the above defects, Sl. No. 2, 3 and 4 were not rectified and they were not ready to listen. Lastly I have to take delivery of the vehicle with the remarks which can be seen in the enclosed job card. I was called for wiring change in Oct., 2010. I again informed the same defects but they again ignored saying the concerned technician is on long leave. Now, I put the vehicle for 2nd service on 12.03.2011, Job slip No. 9278 (enclosed) with the following defects: 1.	High noise 2.	Head light high beam light defect. 3.	Inside back mirror vibrating. 4.	Body vibrating and high noise comes. 5.	Panel wiring bunch is hanging and needs proper fitting. 6.	Starting problem 7.	Current leakage from battery causing battery discharging frequently. On 14.03.2011, I was informed by Mr. Raunak from Twins Wheels that other defects have been removed except the current leakage. He also stated that when we plug off the tape then there is no current leakage. It is understood that the current leakage is due to tape. This repair is not comes under our purview and it comes under our show room. We have talked with our show room and you may also contact them. Accordingly, I phoned on 14.03.2011 (11.30 Hrs.) to Twins Wheels, where detail discussion was held Mr. Mayank. He said, I am busy with other work, and later on I will call you. But there was no phone from Mr. Mayank side and at evening (17.00 hrs.), I again phone to Mr. Mayank and he told me that we will take suitable action on current leakage. On 15.03.2011 (16.00 hrs.), I again phone to Mr. Mayank regarding the action taken. But he said due to one and another reason, action has not been taken so far. Now sir, you can imagine, how much M/s Twins Wheels taking care of the customer. In 5 days, they have not removed the defects stated above. And now yet it is to be seen at the time of trial that the defects has been removed or not.                  <description>To,  The General Manager  maruti udyog pvt.ltd.   Dear sir,   I have ALTO LXI purchased on 1/1/2009,i had my servicing (paid) done at automotive dealers at nasik,maharashtra.From the day of sevicing my vehiclewas getting viable(jerking at speed of 60/70 km/hr).I have made complaint to the management of automotive ,the vehicle was seen by engineers and the problem was not diagnosed,Persisted and finally the engineers adviced to change the all tyres,later on told to change the 2 back tyres at 28000 kms running. As per the advice i have changed the tyres,but my problem is not solved.Now please help me to solve the problem--give me expert advice to solve the problem.  The service centre is giving poor service.The problem solving attitude is not seen.   Dr.V.P.Kandewad. </description>

                 <description>My vehicle Toyota Innova bearing registration No. KL-7/BM-7917, was given for service on 08 Feb 2011 at 12:30hrs and was asked to collect the same at 16:30 hrs the same day. When I prepared to go and collect the vehicle, I received a phone call saying that the vehicle has had a small accident and I was asked the following question “what are we to do?" 	 I informed them that I will be coming immediately as I wanted to see the extent of damage done to the vehicle. On arrival at the premises I was shocked to see my vehicle completely torn on the right side. This includes the 2 right doors (front and rear), front bumper, and other damages. How can such a thing happen inside the premises when the vehicle is driven by experts? This goes to show that it is total negligence on the part of the company. As I have need of the vehicle urgently I asked the company to have the work done immediately, to which I received a different, untoward attitude from the staff. I was asked to give my insurance papers for the purpose of making insurance claim which I feel is not in line with regulations. Since the insurance papers were not given to them the company began harassing me. They also told me that there is no court in India that will favor me as they say it at the customer’s risk. If the accident was done by me I would agree, but since it was negligence on part of the company. Till to- date the vehicle is still lying in the work shop, thus causing inconvenience to me and an additional expenses to the tune of Rs 1500 per day for the hire of Innova excluding fuel charges, for the work I was using my vehicle. As such I prefer a compensation of Rs 1500 per day from date the vehicle was damaged to the day of delivery.</description>

                 <description>My name is Dr. R.K. Mishra and I am a busy Surgeon at Gurgaon, NCR, Delhi. I had bought my new Mercedes Benz which came with pre fitted Michelin Tyres. One day when I came from my residence to hospital I saw a bulge (bubble) was seen on the wall of one tyre I called my dealer of Mercedes Benz T &amp;T Motors they said to contact. Michelin Tyres engineer at Okhala Industrial Phase I. When we went there they called that you should come latter. Again next day they said you should go to Manjeet Automobile and tyre, Gurgaon Sector 14. Again after many phone calls the Engineer of Michelin Tyres came to see my Mercedes tyre at Sector 14 Gurgaon. I ask the so called engineer of company Mr. Paramjeet why this bulge appeared in my car and this hole could have led to tyre burst with grave consequences while driving. The company person after seeing the car tyre handed over to me a report on this tyre. They claimed that this defect had developed due to wrong driving and wrong maintenance. I drive my car my own and as a surgeon I don’t even drive my car more than 60 KM/Hour. I requested the dealer to replace the tyre even I asked the Mercedes dealer of India to do something for that but they do not care. In my opinion these new company who came to India and want to market their product in India they are sending the entire defective product in India. They are duping defective product from all over world to India. I am going to sue them in court not due to my loss but as a doctor and responsible citizen of India I know that these tyres can take life to any one and I want to warn all the citizen of my country that they should not buy Michelin Tyres. Even these Mercedes people they are selling their expensive car in India fitted with one of the worst car of the world just to make money.</description>

But dt. 23rd Dec-2010 onwards the vehicle break down for some parts and as per dealer these parts are not available here &amp; its remain undone.  We are very disappointed for this kind of response as we took this vehicle by realising the reputed status so far as servicing &amp; repairing concern. We are badly suffering for this non availability of parts.  Your early action in the aforesaid matter will be highly appreciated. </description>

                 <description>our car registration no. TN 22 AW 6507, met with accident on 07/10/10, left with M/s. Maruti Service Masters, Guindy, chennai for surveyor's assessment and declared by M/s. Cholamandalam insurance as total loss.   When we went to dispose the car to an agent earmarked by our insurance company, we found alternator, drive shaft, wiring harness and 25 litrs of petrol. When we asked Mr. Natarajan, service advisor of M/s.Maruti  Service master, he replied that the car was left without those components. We argued with the photographs taken by the insurance surveyor while accessing was clearly showing the alternator, they reluctantly returned the alternator. As far as other components, they said they were not available. As far as petrol theft, the same was complained many times whenever the car was given for service.  Inspite of charging parking charges as Rs.4,050 @ Rs.150 per day and estimation charges as Rs.2500.00 they are indulging in this kind of cheap activities.   regards,  c.v.ganapati.  mobile : =91 9790921635 </description>

                 <description>I purchased Maruti Alto Lxi on 19th sept2010 from Mithra Agencies Hyderabad . i was promised auto card by the sales representative and also a pack of four CD's of Signature Collection within two months of car delivery but till now i did not receive any thing whereas my friends who purchased with me got the same within two months. when enquired the sales reprentative puts the blame on marutisuzuki gurgoan. secodly my car was serviced at its workshop in the month of november 2010 but it was totally unsatisfactory.the conserned service engineers did not even bother to give a water wash ,which only shows how careless they are.  </description>

                 <description>We Paid Rs. 499 to PRJ Auto Services Pvt. Ltd for RACE Road Breakdown assistance on 19/11/2010 for my car Baleno no. DL2CAF2438. stuck at Surya Hospital, Plot#46, Knowledge Park-III, Greater Noida, I Called the RACE call center at tel # 01140007000 today at about 10.30am reporting that my was not starting due to car Battery had gone down. I was told that the service will be provided within 45 min. from the time of my call. I kept in touch with the call center and even after 1 hr 30 min. they were not able to provide me the mobile no. of mobile van which was coming to provide road breakdown service but the call center kept asking me to wait for another 10 min more. Finally after almost 3hr 30 min. later, I was surprised to know that their mechanic went back finding no one in the car though I did not move an inch away from my car during this process and the road in front of Surya Hospital in Knowledge Park-III is so isolated that anyone can see if a vehicle comes and stands near a broken down car. On my retaliation to the statement given by the call center, they suspended my membership and refused to give me further service. I finally called a mechanic who arranged towing and repaired the car at his workshop in Tughalpur, Greater Noida for me to make my way back safely.  The company is absolutely into fraudulent business providing service to breakdowns if they are in and around a few vehicles provided for service on road otherwise they can make you stranded in the middle of the road like isolated knowledge park in Greater Noida for many hours without caring if you may get into a life threat even. Therefore, my sincere advise is not to use them any more as they work with their own convenience not for customers. However, I shall pursue this matter with an appropriate court of law to justice. Never use RACE road breakdown service of PRJ Auto Services Pvt. Ltd. </description>

The thing is the car was not repaired properly and which was sent again and again the same thing and than I found that the Remote of the stereo is missing from the car the lady called in to check the status of the car from (+91 9971696019)the feedback team I informed everything to them about the problems I was facing and now when i am trying to call the same number no one is picking up the phone.  Now i am getting irritated and seems that I was cheated by Hyundai.                  <description>Dear Sir,  As per the letter NIL dated received on 08-12-10 from Popular Vehicles and Service Ltd, Service centre, C.I.T road, Killipalam, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala State - 695002 the representative collected my Alto LXI VS Car KL-01 AT 9528 (Milage - 13232 km) on 16-12-2010 for periodic service. While handing over the car i pointed out the following complaints.  1. Wiper sound 2. Steering Check 3. Break Check 4. Hand Break Check 5. Oil Change  On 17-12-2010 morning at 11.30 one Mr. Kishore delivered the car with invoice No BR10020131 dated 17-12-10 and paid the amount of Rs 4837/-. Mr Kishore himself parked the car in our carporch and went immediately as he had to take another vehicle. The next day, when i drive i found the following complaints  1. AC is not working (Before service it was in good condition)  2. Radiator fan not functioning (Before service it was also in good condition)  Besides the above complaints they have not cared for the complaints mentioned at the time of periodic service.  I came to understand that one Mr. Sanker and Mr Nithish attended the work. The above mentioned complaints have been happened with the carelessness of the staff of the Popular Vehicles, Thiruvananthapuram. In this circumstance it is the responsibility of the Popular Vehicles and Service Ltd, Killipalam, Tvpm to repair all the complaints with free of cost. As the vehicle is having two years warrenty and one year extened warrenty the above complaints are to be repaired immediately.  Expecting a favourable action and kind consideration  Thanking you,  V.S.                  <title>Poor Fault Diagnosis and Excess Billing</title>

                 <description>I have a Ford Fiesta ZXi , done 18000 Km in purely Delhi''s plush roads with occassional drives to Jim Corbett or Moradabad. The warranty expired in Sep 2010 after 2 yrs of purchase.  Since Nov 2010 i have been experiencing a creaking sound from the front suspension that goes away after going over a few hard bumps and reappears again after I use it the first time in the day. I took it to South City Ford, NOIDA for rectification after obtaining an "APPOINTMENT " which they give as a favour. They replaced the shock absorbers and sent me away saying that was it. It cost me Rs 6000 for a spare that I would not replace even after logging 70000 Km or more in a Maruti!!! And more horryfying is the fact that they did not get it right.  The PROBLEM STILL REMAINS. IIt appears thatFord follows a method of HIT and TRY at the expense of its customers. The service is still largely boorish and presents a Govt Doctor like facade that " I KNOW IT ALL.. TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT'.  Pl advise as to what could be the problem and how I could get the cost charged to me for a change of Shock Absorbers that were not required to be changed recovered from Ford / their auth representatives.   Ford needs to realise that the have'nt expanded and improved their service network at all as they had promised and they need to get their act together more than making courtesy calls .  warm regards,   Amit Mathur</description>

                 <description>Its been horrible experience with I10, I love to Drive it, But the way the Hyundai after sales service is its very terrible &amp; horrible,  My I10 is just 5 month old , 5000 km driven &amp; Driven by only me ( single person ). 15 days ago service engineer ( Name : Samadhan )of Sharayu Motors was driving my car with me ( test drive prior to 2nd free service ) on Thane-Belapur road which is flooded with huge traffic of heavy vehicle &amp; my cars tie rod end failed ( Broke in 2 piece ), I am fortunate to be alive ( no accident occurred ,"thank god" ) to write this complain &amp; also fortunately we were near the service station,so car was sent to service station.  The front right tyre was totally worn out , tie end rod failed, after further analysis the now Hyundai guys communicated me that shock ups are failed which needs to be replaced.  In the above case mentioned by R.Natarajan atleast they replaced tie rod &amp; other thing under warranty in my case they are asking me to claim for insurance &amp; reason given by them is i have bumped my car in some Pothole.  I don't understand why should i claim insurance, when it should be under warranty.  I am my self ( Production Engineer ) worked in automobile manufacturing vendors , until unless there is some problem in metallurgy ( hardening or Quenching ) of the tie rod end it should not fail ,its shows that quality control of Hyundai is little weak.  Can any one help me to how to tackle.I want the car to be repaired within warranty the assurance that this kind of failure will not happen again, I am proceeding with the customer care but i don't feel its worth.  Regards Manish kumar 09096178347 </description>

                 <title>Poor Service by the Service Center</title>

                 <description>Sir   i am owning Maruthi 800 1997 Model Reg No. T N 09 J 8078. I am a Senior Advocate at Madras High Cour. I am using the car for the past 6 years. I did not have any problem in the car. It is a well maintained car, self driven On 02-12-2010 I gave my car for Water service with instruciton only to change the engine oil and coolent to M/s. Vishnu Cars Private Ltd.176/1. Luz Church Road, Mylapore, Chennai-600 004. They delivered the car on 03-12-2010 with hefty bill for Rs. 2, 403/ vide the Invoice No.Br.1000489 and job card No. JC 10001076 dated 03-12-2010. They did electrical work which I have not instructed them to do it. Still I oaid the amount &amp; took delivery of the vechile. Next day when I swithced the car in the moorning, I noticed vibrating nocie in the engine and the idling was awafull. I again took the car to the Service center and asked them to rectify the defect. They returned the car with assurence that the defect was rectified. On 0-12-2010 I took my wife who is an old lady and my daughter who is in the advanced stage of pregnancy in the car to T Nagr for doctor check up. When I entered Vijayragava Raod from Mount Road, I noticed smoke coming out from the front portion of the car, I immediately asked my wife and daughter to get down from the car and I opened the bannet of thecar. to my surprise fire started broken out from the car. Fortunately foor us a Road side mechanic immediately came to my rescue put off the fire and also disconnected the Positive side terminal of the battery. He informed me the fire was due to not properly fixing the terrminal end in the Battery. I immediately called the Service Senter and asked them to take the car. They took the car to their Work Shop. I went in the evening and asked about the reason for the sudden fire, which never happened in my car. Each one was telling differrent story. Though I was there for nealy two hours, I could not get the correct picture. The Manager-Customer Care Mrs. Akthari Begum promised me that she would take personal care and rectifyy the deffect free of cost. The next day on 10-12-2010 the Service Engineer informed that the electrical wireing kit ahs to be change which will cost me another Rs. 2,500/. He further informed me that since they do not have stock it will take another 4 days to deliver the car. Then I lost my patient and asked the SErvice Center to send the car back to me. After making several phone calls finally they delivered the car in the night.  Though the Manager - Customer care promised to contact me on 10-12-2010, she never contacted me.   My question here is when M/s. Vishnu Cars Pvt Ltd call themselves as Authorised Service Center for all type of Maruthi Cars, how can they say that spare parts are not available? The next question is when the customer entrusted the car for specific job, then how can they without the consent of the customer do other jobs which are not at all necessary and suddenly ask the customer to pay hefty amount towards jobs which are not asked to do?. The next question is that when the customer complains about the defect in the job done by the Service Center, is it not the duty to rectify the defect free of cost? Vishnu Cars are taking the customers for ride and try to squezee as much money as possible. If U have such Service Centers, Maruthi's name in the market will be spoiled soon.   As already stated earlier, I am Senior Advocate with 41 years of practice at Madras High Court. If U do not take action against the Service Center, then I may be constraiined to take legal action both Criminal and Consumer Court against the Service Center and allso against U.   I hope that U will take my complaint in the right spirt and take appropriate action against the said Service Center.   Thankin U.   Yours   B.                  <description>Xylo bought on 7th Oct 2009 by ex-army officer. It was in an accident on 29th Sept 2010. Insured under Bharti Axa cashless policy itwas sent under instructions to Goyal Motors, Mohali,Punjab. It was earlier beingserviced at the Chandigarh service station. However, more than two months later we are still to recieve back the car no CHO1L1116.  Two points atissue: 1. Goyal motors and Insurance co had somehassles about the insurance and wanted customer to pay Rs 98000/- up front torelease the vehicle.  - no consideration was paid for the people travelling in the xylo who had sustained injuries like broken arms and stitches on the forehead. -Towing charges [Rs 3000/] were also paid by customer - Customer had to pay Rs20,000/- to other party [Innova] which had been hit by the Xylo  2. Before the accident - about month before - the customer hadlodgeda complaintwith Mahindra service station in Chandigarh about a compressor which the technicians said would need to bereplaced. The complaint was booked.  - 2 months after stanting in the service station the compressor still has not been replaced. -Is thecustomer required to take the carout of one service station after 2 long months and then garage it inanother service centre fro replacementof compressor?  As an army officer my father had tremendous respect for the Mahindra outfit but seeing the service first hand one is most chagrined.  One gets the feeling of being grossly cheated when one hassuffered such extreme losses and has to further dish out thousands of rupees on the hire of taxis despite having their own SUV.  XYLO engine no. BUT THAT TIME WE GETTING OUR CAR SHOWING OTHER REPAIRING STATION AND TOLD HIM THAT OUR CAR DOES NOT RUN IN SPPED PLEASE SEE ALL AND GET FINAL REPOR IN THIS MATTER.   WE ARE SURPRISING THAT HE TOLD US THAT ONLY TUNNING IN CAR IS DESTURB AND REPAIR THIS AND HE CHARGE US ONLY 600 RU.IN THIS MATTER.   IF WE FAITH IN YOUR AUTHORISE STATION KATARIYA MANINAGER AND CHANGE OUR CAR OR GIVE HIM TO OPEN THE ENGINE AND REPAIR THIS SO WE GET MAJOR LOST.    SO SIR WE THINK WHAT. AUTHORISE STATION HIS GOOD FOR US OR OTHER AT THE BEGIING WE FIRST TIME GET THIS TYPE OF RESULT.   IF WE FAITH IN YOUR DEALER WHAT HAPPEEN SIR .   WE NOW THINK THAT IF COMPANY CLOSE THE MODEL HIS REPAIRABLE MAN ARE NOT IN COMPANY .
