Fraud in the membership
I was contacted by Country Club [India] Limited telephonically and thorugh email. Based on my telephonic discussion with their representative, Mr. Vinay Sharma, DME [cell no. 9953895617 from Hauz Khas Division, New Delhi] visited my office several times and offered and promised following:
1. 10 yrs holiday package for 7 members with promise of 7 days holiday per year to any of their resort all over the world [with prior reservation]. I was promised that we get 2 luxury rooms under this scheme and in case of any extra room [other than 2 luxury rooms] then I have to make payment of Rs.250.00.
2. Then, i was told that if i get 3 members to their scheme then my membership fee of Rs.60000.00 will be refunded [after deducting service tax] within one month of buying their membership.
3. The food and beverages will be free during our stay at any of their resort for all 7 members [who are covered under the package scheme].
4. Further, i was promised by Mr. Vinay Kumar that if i get 3 more members to country club then my membership fee of RS.60000.00 will be refunded within 30 days of getting them new members.
Based on the documentary offer of the package, i had taken the holiday package from country club at the cost of Rs.60000.00 [including tax]. Payment was made to them through credit card [no. 5239455000370756 dated 28.02.2011 and country club receipt no DEL-4625 signed by Amarjeet Kumar].ted
My suffering and frustation started after getting the membership. Details are as follows:
1. I had taken the membership [CC05DEL10L2428 DATED 28.02.11]. This membership is valid for 10 years.
2. First shock , i came to know was that this membership is valid for 2+2 members only and not for 7 members as promised].
3. Even after getting 3 new members, i was not refunded my membership fee as promised by Mr. Vinay Sharma, DME.
4. I will have to pay full charges on all foods and sightseeing against promise of no extra cost, again promised by Mr. Vinay Sharma
5. I will have to pay 100% room charges for extra room [other than 1 room against promised 2 rooms].
6. This package given to me is valid only for India and not for country club’s overseas resorts.
7. I had arranged 3 more memberships [nos CC05DEL10L2506; CC05DEL10L2416; CC05DEL10L2455]. But, I am still waiting for the refund of my membership fee of Rs.60000.00.
I have talked to Mr. Ritesh Kumar [cell no 9818612400], Team Leader of Vinay Sharma and Mr. Manoj Kumar [cell no. 9560754978] no of times and tried to explain my problem. But, I was surprised and shocked that in place of listening and solving my complain, I was ill treated by three of them and even threatened by Ritesh and Vinay not to pursue the case further otherwise……………………………
I am really surprised company like COUNTY CLUB [PVT]. Limited is involve in these type of FRAUD and mall practices which are not appreciated at all. I am not sure even I will get any reply from COUNTRY CLUB on my request.
