                 <title>Payment done but settlement letter not received and harrasement by recovery agents</title>

                 <description>To ICICI Bank,  This complaint is regarding credit card no. 4443 4101 0856 7007  ICICI bank collection team has contacted for the outstanding amount on this card and offered the settlement to be made at 20000 rs. at one time and close the card account.  they have also assured that once you make payment send us copy of deposit slip and chq details so we will update in our system and will issue a settlement letter.  on 11.06.2010 I deposited 20000 rs. as told by OP Khatri from collections team and also send him scan copy of chq and deposit slip but after that when we asked for settlement letter he told us that you will get it in 7 days. we waited for seven days but after when we contacted him they told that there is no person named OP Khatri and after contacting local ICICI branch they told that there is no settlement has been initiate on your card.  I was making follow ups but they were not giving any answers and in few days recovery agents again started to call and using abusive language to my boss and my relatives.  when i asked them regarding settlement letter for which i have made payment of 20000 rs. they told me that forget that amount and do what we say otherwise you will have problem.  a person called Amjad - 09617779880 is constantly using abusive languages and harrasing by calling 8.30 pm in evening and through out day.  nobody is giving me answer for settlement letter which I never received and again they are threatening to pay more for settlement...  now ICICI bank employees are telling that you forget about that payment we will not consider that SO why this people are lying and harrasing again to me.  i have also got deposit slip in which i have clearly mentioned payment agaist settlement while depositing 20000 rs in ICICI bank.  I want my settlement letter and stop harrasement by recovery agents like amjad.  Dalbir M. 95588 18687</description>

                 <description>Hi All, I had phone from Dining plus on date of 1 May 2012 the phone no was 01204809300. He explained to me regarding their dining plus card and its various benefits and facilities. I was told that I will be receiving a welcome kit in around 7 days by post which is provided to me for free as I have been very consistent in repayment of my Credit Card Bills. He told me that I just need to confirm/verify my 16 digit Credit Card No. and expiry date. When I refused to provide the no. then that person told me that they are not asking for my CVV no. nor any passwords related to the Credit Card. Consequently I provided the Card No. and the expiry date WITHOUT providing the CVV no.  There after i received message from the citibank that Rs. 5499/- was spent on your card on 02-may-2012 at dining plus.This transaction has been processed without the additional factor of authentication prescribed by RBI.  I was shocked by reading this message. After that one day i received call from that company again. They are saying not ready to repayment my amount.  How citibank allowed this transaction? This is serious case.                  <description>Kind Attn.: Manager Credit card division ING Vysya bank  Dear sir,  I have recvd a call from dinner club from no.01204518150 stating i hgot selected for the offer for the dinning plus gold card and the concerned executive said that this card is issued for only credit card holders and it cost nothing.  inturn he connected to some x person he said the 5 benefits and also said that it will not be charging any amount.  i blindly believed it and finally he asked my card no. for verifying with my bankers whether it is true or not.  after disconnecting the call i received the message from TD-077806 with matter as below  Dear customer your A/c is charged with INR.: 5499.00 for dining plus gold card.for further Queries contact 120-4780437.  when i called the given no. it is continuous engage.  I thought it was fake call made me fool.  Hence i request the concerned authorities pls. take a n action to those who re cheating many o hem in the way.  and i request you to pls. stop the debit o the amount of INR.:5499.00 from my debit card.  I would be grateful if the amount s being stopped being debitted from my credit card account.  Thank you N.Vasu dev</description>

                 <description>On 1st week of april i recd call from executive of Dining plus and they informed me that my name is selected for some 5 attractive offers and schemes and they explained about all the schemes. They explained about their card details and asked my cc details but i didnt say the details then they told its just for confirmation to send their card. Then the transferred the call to their senior Mr.Sekar and he advised me that there is no charges against this card and its absolutely free.   Then there was no call from them for past 2-3 days and on 10th Apr,12 i recd msg from HDFC bank stating that the card has been debited for Rs.5499.00. Immdiately i called dining india several times but there was no response. Again i called HDFC CC and logded a complaint and requested to give stop payment but they informed me fill a dispute form and send to HDFC CC, Chennai.   Yesterday i hv visited their website and saw there was lot of complaints against Dining plus. So Please do the needful to refund the amount </description>

But by oversight or mistake I forget to sign the cheque for Jan 2011 payment of Rs.3252.63. On receive of intimation I dropped new cheque for Rs.3253.00 and the same was cleared on 14-1-11. Barclay charged Rs 678.80 for delay payment etc due on 08/02/11. Being a peace loving person I confirmed my mistake and dropped a cheque for Rs 679.00 dt 05/02/11 which was cleared on 11/2/11.I had contacted with the customer service for reversal of charges and express to discontinue the use of the card. My appeal was turned down vide ref# CAS-4700355-U9FTFM dt 5/2/11. But on Feb 2011 statement I had charged with Late payment fees and other for Rs 541.95.I contacted the official who in turn told that the earlier late payment received late for that I have to pay th late charge. I post a mail to complain cell the reply of which is still pending. By this time I received a letterUnder ref no OMG_250112031081 dt 30/1/12 that Barclay assigned Phoenix ARC Pvt ltd. to settel the due and advice me to contact them. This is a threat and harassment to a customer having all along good track record.</description>

                 <description> Hello Sir/Madam,  Last year after Aug 2010 a person called Nirmal John asked me to pay the settlement of 8000/ after verifying the issues with the credit card which was going on for two years.  I contacted him thrice and he says he has taken care but i get this notification. will you please stop sending me this. I suppose to receive a letter of confirmation but did not receive any!! What's going on with you people? My card number is : 4477 4780 3049 6008.  Icici please send my settlement letter, otherwise I would file a complaint and I get my work done in simple way.  Nirmal John's phone number is : 9710670534. I spoke to his manager even today (21-Dec-2011). fix this soon.  Prasanna Kumar.S 93817-71709</description>

                 <description>I HAD CORPORATE ACCOUNT WITH KOTAK BANK. ITS REALLY PAINFUL TO HAVE CREDIT CARDS FROM THIS BANK. IRRESPECTIVE OF YOUR SALARY THEY PROVIDE ONLY Rs20K AS THE LIMIT IN THE CARD. SO I HAVE SHUT THE ACCOUNT DOWN FROM THIS BANK. ANY BANK ALL OVER THE WORLD GIVE AT LEAST 3 MONTHS SALARY AS CREDIT LIMIT. BUT KOTAK DOES NOT EVEN KNOW WHAT THEY ARE UP TO. WE HAD TAKEN CAR LOAN THE LETTERHEAD USED BY THE BANK WAS SO CHEAP, I FELT WHAT THE HELL IS THE BANK UP TO. THE EXECUTIVES TAKES ALL THE DOCUMENTS &amp; THEY SEND SMS SAYING, CARD IS BEEN REJECTED. NOW SBI ASKS CUSTOMER TO DEPOSIT THE AMOUNT TO GET CREDIT CARD. WHEN THEY ARE NOT GOOD AT GETTING CUSTOMERS, THEY SHUD SHUT DOWN THE CREDIT CARDS IMMEDIATELY. ONLY BANKING SECTOR OF SBI IS TOO GOOD BUT NOT CREDIT CARDS. They told me that my name has been selected as a most vip customer for maintaining sbi credit card in a proper manner for the last so many years. To my surprise that they have got every information which I submitted during the the time when my card was issued,like my tel no,address &amp; date of birth.I thought all this information was provided by ICICI credit card dept for nomination of my name. Accordingly I accepted their offer,for free holidays worth rs 40000 to 50000,free fooding for rs 4000,reebok items for rs 2500 &amp; dining card for discounted shopping. They have debited rs 5499.00 from my credit card through ivrs system. Whenever he debited rs 5499.00 from my credit card, the sms information received in my mobile that a transaction on inr 5499.00 on 13th oct 2011 on my ICICI credit card xxxxxxx3001 is made at dinning plus. We call to many times to dinning plus delhi - 01145738506 (miss shalu)around 60-65 times calls in last 7 days &amp; also so many calls to mumbai dinning plus corporate office but they are not give me satisfactory reply. I didn't fill up any form for their membership. I,being harassed on the payment modes &amp; follow ups and finally lead to the Full and final settlement in Dec 2008 &amp; Got the F&amp;F shettlement letter in feb 2009. But since 28.02.2009 i am getting reminders and filers to make the payment of the outstanding pertaining to the card . However it was an unpleasant experience to be chased for nonpayment even after successful payment from a remote location like Andaman &amp; Nicobar . ( No Service during March 2007 to May 2008 ). I have documented all the Experience i have gone through to ICICI .The last payment receipt # C1208-7285311,dated 28th Feb 2009 Paid At Bhubaneswar .                  <description>I recieved a call form the number 011 30953600 on 10-09-2011 posing as if they are frm CITI bank. They had all the details on the information of credit card. I was told that the company decided to awardme because my good credit rating. As these people were having all the details i thought they were genuine. Next thing I realized that my credit card was charge Rs 5499. When I tried to call this number there is no response. There was not even a ring tone. When I tried to look up this company on internet I saw that there ar many such victims who have fallen prey for this ploy. The promosed made were exactly similar to the ones maode to other victims. Please look into this matter and ensure that these people were caught and punished and the money is recovered.   govindacharyulu</description>
