                 <description>I had been to J.P.Collection,Exclusive Samsonite showroom) at No19, 9th main road,4th Block Jaya nagar Bangalore-560011 and was looking for a light travel hand baggage cum laptop bag weighing around 2.500 Kg as applicable limit on international carrier is 8 kg(lufthansa) for cabin baggage. I had seen bags in VIP also but after visiting SAMSONITE and as per stated by the shopkeeper that the weight of this bag(Quadrion pro mobile office) is 2.500 kg and is a fast moving bag due to less weight,when insisted for weighing machine he said i (shopkeeper) stand guarantee and on his words bought it for Rs11350/= for which invoice was given without any invoice no and manually written on 6th March 2011. Next day morning i took that bag and got it weigh and the weight was 4.230 Kg. When i approached the shop for wrong details,the reply was i am a marketing person and has sold the bag to you and never said that the weight is 2.500 kg He was arrogant and the attitude was totally different since he had received full money. The shop keeper knew that he has sold the bag by providing wrong details for the sake of business(which is not ethicle for a showroom of SAMSONITE), later in the evening of 7th March when he refused to give refund for that bag i was forced to purchase One laptop wheeler cotan rolling tote black ---even on 7th march when i insisted that i will get it weigh outside,he tookout weighing machine from his store and got this bag weigh)and still he was adamant for giving the balance amount and bought additional laptop office bag by paying extra Rs500/= total bill now is Rs11850/= My submission is that the public should be AWARE OF SUCH shopkeepers,even on 6th when i was there i could see the arrogant attitude when a senior citizon along with son bought TWO big size suit cases and till shopkeeper got the payment he was polite and after getting payment when the person requested that if his office boy can help him in getting one bag in his car,he refused and said bring your car and stop the car near his shop(its a no parking area).The customer had respect for traffic rules and took it by him self. This issue must be brought into the notice of the SAMSONITE COMPANY to stop tarnishing the image of a good product company for the sake of marketing and arrogance,the example why i have presented as the shopkeeper had weighing machine but to get the business he has cheated us. As its a known fact that on international airlines they are strict about the weight and when the limit for cabin baggage is 8 kg,the shopkeeper said airlines will adjust. This incident has definitely made my mind set NOT TO VISIT J P COLLECTION (SAMSONITE SHOWRO0M)4th BLOCK JAYANAGAR BANGALORE and will also advise others to be CAREFUL WHILE SHOPPING in THIS SHOP. And after replacement he has given a computerized bill with invoice no mentioning both the products bought and no mention of old bag replacement.The fresh invoice no is 02610 dated 07-march-2011 8.22 pm Invoice copy for the earlier bag(without invoice no)and fresh bill with number for the exchange bag is available with me as documentary evidence if required by someone. At the end i will state avoid visiting the SAMSONITE SHOP--J P COLLECTION 4th Block Jayanagar Bangalore instead go to any other SAMSONITE SHOP in Bangalore as product is good but the shopkeeper has no ethics for the customer requirement.</description>

                 <description> As usual like in all festive seasons the shops big or small in the markets or malls in this season too while competing each other to allure buyers to make the maximum shopping in their shops had been offering various cuts in prices, scratch a card and take a gift etc etc.  Big Bazaars, a group of Pantaloon,too displayed various offers--- one being "ASSURED GIFTS" on a certain amount(and above) of purchases.  I and my family members do regular shopping in Big Bazaars. And, obviously, just a few days ago we made some purchases in the Big Bazaar, GWALIOR After standing in a long queue and making payment I was directed to stand in another queue to claim my "ASSURED GIFTS". As usual being in the queue for a while I was given a paper and advised to collect the ASSURED GIFT from yet another counter (the Gift Counter). Oh! there again I had to stand in a long queue before I could reach the counter to collect my ASSURED GIFT.  The personnel in the counter showed the ASSURED GIFT and to my utter surprise I was asked to make a lump sum payment , though less than the price of the Gift item, before collecting the ASSURED GIFT. I did so and brought home the ASSURED GIFT.  NOW, I JUST WITH A VIEW TO LEARNING AND EDUCATING MYSELF THE MEANING OF ""A GIFT"" WOULD REQUEST TO YOU KINDLY LET ME KNOW WHETHER ONE HAS TO MAKE PAYMENT TO RECEIVE A GIFT WHETHER IT IS " "A GIFT ON SOME PURCHASES" " OR " "A BIRTHDAY GIFT" " ETC.  And if asking payment (might be a token one) is against law, what should I do ?  Would you kindly advise?  Thanks.  Yours truly,  SUPTA BASU Nov 27 2010</description>

                 <title>The Lug Line: Fake Samsonite Dealer from 1E Dover Lane, Kolkata-29</title>

                 <description>  I had purchased Samsonite COSMOLITE SPINNER 55 trolley soft-suitcase from The Lug Line, 1E Dover Lane, Kolkata- 700029 in the month of October 2010. At the time of purchase there was nothing unusual externally about the Samsonite luggage pack. It looked absolutely genuine from outside.  But within a month of the purchase, the suitcase body ruptured and the stitches came loose. I took the Samsonite suitcase to the Authorized Samsonite Service Center (92 Eliot Road, Kolkata- 700016). Samsonite Service Center informed me to my utter surprise that the Samsonite set is a FAKE one. The Samsonite Service Center also informed me that it is the fourth time that a fake Samsonite luggage has been reported to them. In all the cases the seller was The Lug Line, 1E Dover Lane, Kolkata- 700029.  I also came to know that The Lug Line is involved in many corrupt practices like replacing parts of original Samsonite &amp; American Tourister luggage with cheap local made ones. It is the business of duping customers with fake branded suitcases.  The Lug Line &amp; its owner Debasish Datta is a bloody CHEAT.   Moreover I got information from the local municipal councilor (ward no: 86) that this Debasish Datta was once arrested by Kolkata Police for creating and distributing pirated pornographic Blue Film CDs.                  <description>Dear Sir/Madam,  I am a resident of Model Town Phase 3 Delhi. On 15-11-2010, I along with my aunt went to a Relaince Fresh Outlet for shopping of some household items. We purchased a pack of 10 Kg. of Rice form the shop and returned to our place. On unpacking of the packet we found that the rice were of bad quality not confirming to the desription of the product.  At the same time we went back to the shop and asked for the change of the product as it was mentrioned on the bill that the item purchased can be exchanged within 14 days from the date of purchase.  Accordingly, we intimated the cashier that we want to replace the packet and after his accord we picked another packet of rice. Then, we went to the cashier to replace the previously purchased bag and requested him to issue necesary document to enable us to take the replaced bag out of the shop.  However, now this cashier not only contracdicted to his earlier statement but also abused us in bad words. He behaved in a totally uncivilised manner. He did not even feel ashamed of abusing women customer in front of his collegues and other customers present at the shop. He even tried to hurt us physically. Other staff also joined him and confornted us.  Finally a senior fellow come out from the office and take notice of our plight. The matter get resolvd as soon as a civilised person get involved. Our product was changed and our request thus accepted.   However, the above episode had given both of us a traumatic experience and we wish such incidence do not occur in future with any other customer. We want that a serious action should be taken against the misbehaving cashier. His name is Mr. Lalit. We want to use this platform to kindly forward our case to someone who is a relevant authority to take an appropriate action against the uncivilised, misbehaving Cashier.  Thanks &amp; best regards</description>

In the arguement that followed, he and his assistant basically scolded me about how to discipline my daughter.  You will agree that this kind of behaviour will have a consequences despite invitation prices.  What is of even more serious concern is that there is no mechanism in Bharti Walmart for redressel or feedback. They believe even if this happens, customers due to low prices will still continue to flock your stores,so, why bother? True?</description>

                 <description>Big Bazar Advertisement on Saturday the 3rd July 2010 mentions price of Nutrela Sunflower Oil 15Ltr. jar at Rs. 799/- Where as when purchased the same on Sunday the 4th July from Big Bazar at Bhyander Maxus Mall they Billed it at Rs. 822/- which when pointed out to Billing personsaid computer has this price only and I should contact the customer care people, they in turn were not ready to listen said bring and show the advertisement and take credit. Requested them to check at their own end as to bring and show the advertisemnet would mean to waste my time and money of which were they ready to re-imburse, for which they decline and started talking rudely , even their incharge said that the reply given by the person I am speaking to is correcet. This is very incorrect on their part of wrong pricicng and some one is pointing they need to check themselves not put on the customer to bring the details, being is service Industry this is very Bad.</description>

                 <title>BAD SERVICE</title>

                 <description>On a sunday morning, after my walk , on an impulse i walked into the reliance store in Savitri Nagar, Sheikh sarai, phase-I. Since i wasnt having a bag , i chose only 3 items, when a staff member brought a trolley along, but i declined saying i cant carry much as i dont have a bag &amp; as per govt guidelines no polybags were being sold( its another thing that all their grains etc are packed in polybags ready to be ripped off the roll that is made available). He offered that i may chose whatever and something will be arranged when i reached the counter. I again clarified with him and again he reassured me that. I took almost 40 mins selecting several items, but when i reached the counter, that staff member was never seen again, and the remaining staff very rudely argued with each other saying everybody knows the rules and nothing can be done about it. No one bothered to trace the staff member and neither did anyone had the brains to offer a solution! All that they had parroted was "sorry but we cant help, u have no choice but leave back the items or make your arrangements! At the same time a mother and teenage daughter were having an argument with the staff at the other counter and seeing the attitude of the staff towards these ladies, I just dumped off the items and left, cursing myself for having walked into that store for the 3rd time in two years- and for going there again after similar bitter experiences before! Its so different at Spencers/big apple!</description>

                 <title>Wrong doings of Complaint Board</title>

                 <description>Complaint Board is not varifying the complaints before or after publishing which encourages the complaints to write wrong and tell lies. There should be a varification of the complaint after publishing and the genuiness be varifies and also phone and correct name should be there otherwise complaint should be treated false and shouyld be removes. One of my friend told me that the ex empoloyees write wrong for their precious employers and it is all not true unless they provide the confirmation of their real phone and correct name and the employer should be given a chancer to explain. The above all brings a very bad name to Complait board. The management of Complaint board is so strict and never hear the sufferer who may be right. The document proof is very mych required otherwise the complaint is false. Is Complaint board is meant only for complaintant or for a good reason for all? shame for all of us. The real complaint or the varification of the complaints will bring the good name to the complaint board and also the real complaints will really helpful for the public than wasting time and also encouraging people try to put false complaints of the empoloyers or any one.</description>

Store, An Aditya Birla venture advertised vigourously to lure people into spending 3000/- during month of November 2009 and recieve free Halogen Heater.  All More. stores in Panchkula region sheepishly admit that they have not recieved the heaters. This dilly-dallying has been going on for past three weeks.  The customers are being duped, they are spending extra bucks to reach the total of 3000/- but More. store is not providing the heaters.</description>

                 <title>double money charged from my debit card</title>

                 <description>On 28th May'2010(7:16 pm) my wife purchased the item of Rs.499.50 from the Big Bazaar, Bagha Jatin' kolkata with her debit card(RRN. 014813462002). But we found there was another transaction(POS purchase) taken place of Rs.948.30 from her account with the same debit card for some other bill(RRN.014813520409) in the same day.  When we went back to that Big Bazaar and checked the merchant copy, we found the second bill was not even signed properly(just one circle drawn instead of the full sign). However, though we have explained and requested again and again,but they refused to cooperate. I really didn't understand how is it possible to make two transaction with one debit card, where as they swapped the card once and it has been signed by the proper person(my wife) once. They didn’t want to accept this neither as a technical fault nor their own fault and they started blaming us, which is a big harassment. Also they started arguing that - its not the responsibility of the cashier to check the signature of the debit card with the merchant copy (which is against the banking law). So, I complain against the Big Bazaar, Bagha Jatin'Kolkata and the cashier (Somenath Paul) as it was his duty to verify the signature of merchant copy as well as maintain the proper responsibility of a cashier. There has been an illegal monitory withdrawal from our account, for which I seek your cooperation.   ---- Yours faithfully  Subhajit Pal 9836888008</description>

                 <title>Lost my wallet in the store</title>

                 <description>I Rashmi Pabreja a regular customer of reliance fresh store at pitampura been to the store on 05-04-2010 there I lost my wallet which I kept at the shelf to pick up some vegetables and somebody stole it.I was there for all most 20-25 minutes.I entered the store at 7.00 pm and at 7.15 I asked the person at reception and security guard that I lost my wallet they did not take any action I kept on searching on my own in the store at last I called store manager but it was quite late as they did not took any prompt action and who so ever took it got the time to escape.I lost following items 1-HDFC DEBIT CARD 2-HDFC CREDIT CARD 3-ICICI CREDIT CARD 4-PAN CARD NO.AMCPP1984E 5-VOTER ID CARD 6-600 RS CASH 7-I PAIR OF GOLD EAR RINGS A complaint was lodged by me on 06 April 2010 at thana mourya enclave pitampura Delhi regarding the same but no help I fought hard to get the footage of camera so that it can be traced out who stole my wallet from the store but reliance fresh management kept on misleading me and even police could not help me in any of the way. at least these stores are responsible and answerable for customer safety and security but on the contrary they shed off all there responsibility.then who is responsible for my lose?attitude of reliance fresh management was highly disappointing as they were quite rude and non cooperative.  I look forward appropriate action to be taken against Reliance Fresh.  Thanks&amp;Regards, Rashmi Pabreja  </description>
