                 <title>Pathetic after sales service &amp; unprofessional, unaccountable attitude</title>

                 <description>I have had a very unsatisfactory, unprofessional &amp; thoroughly disappointing experience with Raga Interiors. I had contacted them for a modular wardrobe and invested time in they inspecting the premise and discussing the design etc. Was completly relying and depending on them for the work after Raga partners confirmed starting the work after the last inspection round. They did not complete the last inspection and did not even bother to respond to repeated follow ups. They kept on promisisng to proceed with the manufacturing even after confronting their business interest level to look for alternatives. Did not hear from them for over 2 months. I guess Raga Interiors have no sense of customers urgency &amp; satisfaction, value for time, may be due to the order value.  A customised enterprise like this expected to grow and earn a good reputation by being upfront and not misleading and definatly not not Dilly-dallying.  This was not all, I also happen to buy Flush doors with door skins and a solid teak wood door from them. I was expecting the teak wood door to be strong and sturdy. The door had several thread thin see through opening which I later realised was a manufacturing defect when the door broke into 2 straight peices on trying to push open one day. On reporting the same to the owner they simply refused to take accountability of the defect and any corrective loss recovery actions.   I will never recommend their name to anyone, infact discourage individuals and corporates to indulge with Raga Interiors for any Job work. I discovered this to be by far the most unpleasent experience after having delt with multiple interior related service providers while doing up my flat recently. </description>

                 <description>This company sold me a modular kitchen worth Rs 2.00 Lacs+ few months back with an assurance that any type of defects shall be taken care of and prompt after sales service shall be provided by them. To our surprise, this costly kitchen started giving problems from day1 and NO AFTER SALES SERVICE was provided by this company. Numerous calls and emails have been sent but no resolution was provided by this company. It seems this is a completely cheating company and they just do sweet talk to sell and trap the customers. Even they did not rectify the defects till date inspite of offering them payment for the same !!</description>

                 <title>Low quality sofa and poor service</title>

                 <description>I purchased a sofaset more than a year back. During warrenty period the sofa started deforming and I informed the Manisquare eZone store from where I bought the sofa. After several attemt also they did not attend the call and at the end I put a complin in cousumercomplaint.in site. Then they responded and promised to fix the sofa. They took the sofa for fixing the sofa to their repair centre. The below are the issues. 1. Sagged Sofa 2. Side walls swollen and front walls swollen They fixed the sofa by a non professional (as mentioned by Aniket) when I complained them that the sofa is partially fixed. I also found that the sofa PVC was damaged when I received back the sofa. They hired another professional for repairing the sofa at my place. The person came and opened the sofa. To my surprise I saw that the foam was not replaced rather padded with packing material and it was opened multiple times and because of which the PVC is damaged. Now the sofa is still having the same issues with one more new issue like damaged PVC. When I reached them again, they are saying the PVC will get damage when they open the sofa for warrenty support and they can't do anything to that and also they are saying they can't replace the PVC. The sofa is left with the frame only and I may need to do all the re-work again or need to throw the sofa. I am cheated by Future Group by   1. Providing low quality product  2. Improper Service provided  3. Service done by non professionals, which damaged the sofa.  4. Breach of trust and cheating</description>

                 <description>I had purchased a bed from Big Bazaar, Highland park(FUTURE VALUE RETAIL LTD)P.S.Jadavpur,kolkata-75 on 15th Aug. 2011. It was delivered within 10 Days, but while assembling, it came to notice that the rot iron bed was defective. So the assembling could not be done properly, and it laid in the corner of the room(unusable).  Since that day, we had been trying to contact the couple of numbers, provided for any assistance needed. But we are yet to receive any remedy from their side. They have been providing false promises and dates, whenever we give them a call. Sometimes they don't even bother to pick up the call. And what's most disappointing is, one of the number belongs to the Furniture department. your departmental staff has been the biggest liar during all our communications, and has been providing false promises. And notably, also threatened saying that, we are trying our best, and nothing would happen even if we try to speed up the process from our side by escalating it to higher authorities, or even go to the Consumer Forum.  I have made the full payment for the furniture as I needed it badly, and yet suffering to the whims of one of the employees of the so-called-esteemed brand. Now more than one month the item is not yet delivered and when contacted on telephone I get the saem answer every time please get the consignment number from Dubai, When I contact Dubai they say there is no consignment number it is consolidated shipment, you will get it. we have details that it is already reached Mumbai. From Mumbai to Hyderabad it has not reached and I cannot trace it. I do not know what to do now.</description>

I made full payment Rs. 12000/-. I am making second time complaint in core (complaint No.12417 2-2011). And Urban comforts owner (Mr.Junaid /M. Derrick) is missing and his shop also not there which was given by Ms.Punita since last year. this events was orginised By Mr. Riaz(09880193224)and Ms.Punita(09886894436).I spoke To Both of them but they are just avoiding me.I asked them without any security money or confirmation how anyone will allow to put a stall in such big events.Please help me in this regard.                  <description>Please do NOT buy any furniture from Total Mall.  Their after sale service is very very very very BAD.  I bought a Assam-Teak Wood (as they say) Cot from Total Mall Madiwala.  1) They delivered the display-piece instead of the new one. 2) The plank broke after a few days. And then they told me that the planks are not Assam-Teak. Only the outer structure is Assam-Teak. 3) They promised that they will replace the cot in 1 week. But no one responded to my many calls. Finally, when I went there to seek a replacement cot, I found out that their MDF cots are also not good.  Now, I want my money back but the manager is saying that it is not possible.  The furniture section’s manager’s name is Mr. Satish. I have been in touch with Mr. Satish and Mr. Naveen for over a month now. But both of them failed to address my issues. </description>

He had taken advance and now denying to deliver the things. he said he will not give a pacca pay slip as he does not pay the VAT for furniture. he is still denying to deliver the furniture. i highly recommend not to go for this shop.... he is a big fraud and not a reliable person. he does talk sweet initially and when it comes the matter on delivery he acts smart and give one new excuse everyday.  May God bless him Hell.</description>

                 <title>Sofa cum bed not repaired in warranty</title>

                 <description>Dear Concerned,  I have bought a sofa cum bed from Durian Industries Ltd., 2/69, W.H.S. Kirti Nagar, New Delhi-110015,  India which was delivered on 20 Aug 2010 which is still in warranty. Within 3 months this sofa cum bed has developed problmes with its functioning. We contactd Durian customer care in November and they sent one service person who came, inspected and said the lever is not working. He said he will get it replaced within 15 days. But no one after that came or even responded to our dozen of calls to Durian  Customer care at 91-011-61105599. The Request No for this complaint is 184907. Almost 4 months have gone by but this problem has not been resolved.  Customer care each time promise to get it repaired but absolutely no action has been taken till date. In the month of December we also sent Bill Copy and Warrenty card Copy to cusomer care as requested but again nothing happened. Around 3 weeks back we received a call from one Mr. S. P. Aggarwal(Care taker) as he told his name after repeated callings to customer care, he also promised to take action but again nothing happened.  Last we again called customer care on 12/3/2011 , executive said that she will get the problem resolved in 2 days and again promised call in 10 minutes but again as expected from this comapny, nothing happened , not even a single call from any one.   I am rally frustated at this bahaviour of this so called reputed company with so called 5 year warranty. Now this piece of furniture is useless to me. I demand either complete refund or immediate replacment of this product.                  <description>I had purchased a PARIS made 3+1+1 sofa set model no 88075 from M/s Cache Furnitures Ltd., Secunderabad Door No 3-1-215 , ground floor, beside Manju theatre, Secunderabad for an amount of rs. 19500/-on 25-10-2009. At the time of purchasing the sales executieve shri Dashmanth Reddy had told that the furniture is having three years gauranttee and we are using very good quality of materials. In the month of October 2010the stiching of the 3 seater came out and immediately i contacted the service centre over telephone 64544352 and I had been given with a mobile no of one ms. Sukanya ie.,9949495354and she told that the person will come and inspect the sofa and for which I have to bare a charge of rs. 150/- and I had agreed. Since no body has visited for two weeks then again I contacted the lady and this time she gave me the phone no of mr. Chandrakanth 9291800532 and after a one week a person had reported. Meanwhile I was given a complaint No Oct 150 . The person who visited our house had told that it cannot be reparied and the repairs also will be temporary and for which it requires rs. 8000/-(aprox) , however i had told him to repair the sofa but till date no body has reported. When I had contacted ms. sukanya she says now she has been transfered and chandrakanth is not lifting the phone. Hence I request you to kindly get the sofa reparied since the quality of the material is very poor or please repay me my amount with bank interest.</description>

I had made the full and final payment of Rs 9000/- on 1st January 2011. The showroom incharge had promised to deliver the furniture by evening of the same day. But the delivery was partial, with 3 chairs yet to be fitted. The delivery man had promised that the remaining 3 chairs would be delivered on 3rd January 2011 by 2pm. After repeated requests they did not deliver and started avoiding my calls. I request you to kindly resolve my complaint.</description>

                 <description>We had Paid an Advance of Rs. 3500/- against Wooden Cot on 23.10.2010 to Mr. Zaid of Living Home, Wooden Furniture &amp; Interior Concept situated at 324/2587 Motilal Nagar No: 2, Opp Bangur Nagar, New Link Road, Goregaon (West), Mumbai - 400 090.   The Condition was Balance would be payable against delivery of the wooden cot. But when the person delivered the wooden cot, they delivered us Old Furniture just polishing and repairing the old one and it was not in good condition. the parts of the Wooden cot was not proper. therefore we returned back the wooden cot and asked them to refund our money back.  Now Mr. Zaid is telling he will not refund the money back as the Wooden cot will be delivered in this same condition only. He informed that, this is the cot which you have to take it and will not refund the money.   These people in Living home shop is making fool of many people taking money and delivering the old Furniture.   It is not the matter of Money of Rs. 3500/- but Please see that people/customers should not be trapped in such people's Net. hence request you to help us.   Now it is almost 2 months we are following the matter with them.   Kindly help  Regards,  Sarani S.</description>

Let me first write their Address and contact info.  Head Office: #24/1, Chikka Gangappa Layout, 1st Floor, Near Freedon Foundation, Hennur Cross, Hennur, Bangalore - 560084  Branch Office: 10-55, Contonment Qrts, Bollarum, Secunderabad. Contact No: 9985804545, 8050923616 Office: 9141188877, 9141188866  Recently in "NIZAM COLLEGE EXHIBITION GROUNDS" place at Hyderabad as 'Consumer Exhibition' these people also participated with stall in the month of September '10. We saw few furniture's and these people attracted customers with modern articles. We found 'SOFA-CUM-BED' which we thought it is suitable for our home needs and then we placed order for one item - 'Sofa cum Double Bed'.  We paid amount Rs.9500/- and place an order with clear mentioning as Delivery within 15days, max. 21 days.   I called after 10days to check the status of my order. But no phones were working, i got shocked and tried contacting every day. But luckily on 16th Day i got call connected with Hyderabad branch office and inquired with Mr. Karim (Branch office executive), he said it was delayed due to Diwali celebrations, workers are not signed back for long days. So i would take another one week extra. I thought this was valid reason and requested him to pay attention at least with their promise. But later after passing one week no response, then i again called to same Hyderabad office. When i inquired about my order they immediately cut my line. When i tried reaching no one is picking. After one month no response, no answering calls.   Finally I got the number of the person of the Bangalore Head Office person Mr. Vijay (He is the one who took order in exhibition), he says that the cloth for the Sofa is not available, so i need to wait for few more days. Such a bad bad ,,,,,, nasty response... He also promised that he will give me a call while delivering, but to be true after reaching 3months their is no response from them, not able to trace them. And forgot to say no landlines are working. I got clear picture this is fake company, fully cheating people. My money lost... Hope lost.   Dear Friends please be aware of such stalls and malls especially in exhibits, i request everyone to be aware of this 'Stupid = 'Creative Interiors' .  Can someone tell me how can i get my money back in case if there is a way.........</description>

No body attending the complaint from Godrej except my showroom dealer in Andheri (w). Though full payment is made no proper service and reply from Godrej and this is the 3rd time a new overhead shutter is ordered as defective pieces supplied. Order placed with Godrej showroom on 17th Oct 2010 with full payment of 26625/-. Today is 30th november and still the unit it half way. It is hopeless paying 1st and getting caught with our money blocked to face the mental trauma and headache bought with our own. I will go to consumer court and claim compensation from Godrej and will surely win the case for the wastage of time and money and the mental trama, telephone charges, wastage of energy and time, physical sickness due to the torture faced during the time period.</description>

The represntative (Trupti &amp; Prem) assured that since the kitchen will be of marine ply, the warranty will be extended for a period of 5 years instead of 3 years which was for MDF ply. All the money was taken immediately. The warranty will be delivered with goods which she assured to deliver in 6 weeks time. We got it after lot of follow-up. When asked for warranty they started giving excuses. Trupti &amp; Prem promised every week that we would get it within 8 days. When I approached their manager, Narendra Jadhav, he typed on plain paper a statement that goods has 5 years warranty. When I refused to accept on plain paper, he said it would take 15 more days to delivered, then he &amp; his Area Manager, William, said I would get after Diwali, then said after Bakri-Idd. Now they are saying the company has merged and I would get it after 2 months. Now they also say that the goods is MDF and not marine ply. My extra money went waste and nobody is ready to respond. The bill has no contact details of company. Request for help and guidance.</description>

                 <description>Dear All,  I also cheated by Balasubramanian, owner of Wood World Modular Kitchen, Chennai. I have given contract to him worth Rs.61000/- to him to create Modular Kitchen and TV cabinet for my new flat. I got his contact through Sulekha.com. Once the rate finalized I released 50% amount to him as advance and he needs to finish my work with in 19 days from the contract date. Unfortunately he never started the work in the first 10 days. When I try reaching him he ignored all my calls, some times he cut the calls.  Then I went to his off ice address as mentioned by him, I was shocking that no such address. He runs his business in the address 1.5 yrs back in the address. After so much pressure I got his Residence address. I reached his house and talked with his house members, After that he made many promises to close the work on time, but never bothered his commitments. Now some of the poor carpenters came to my flat and started work. They worked only 1.5 days and then they absconded with some cutlery materials.  A week gone, after so many follow-ups/pressure another carpenter came and he made the basics. He worked for 3 days. After that he demanded money from me (he insists that he is coming work only for me not for BALASUBRAMANIAN, also the payment expected from me). Then BALASUBRAMANIAN made pressure to release money to the carpenter, otherwise carpenter will not come for money. Then I started releasing payments to the carpenter (later the carpenter told me whenever I get money I need to credit partial money to BALA's Account) . One day the carpenter stopped the work and wanting for Material. I asked the carpenter to ask material to BALASUBRAMANIAN, but the carpenter replied BALASUBRAMANIAN didn’t picking the calls.  After 10000(???) rings to BALASUBRAMANIAN, he attended my call and put me in pressure to pay money for materials. I don't have any other option, then I paid money for material and I personally picked the material. HERE I ACTED AS COOLIE.  Then the Carpenter finished the initial work and waiting for Kitchen Doors, CHIMNEY and HOB, when I asked BALASUBRAMANIAN for kitchen doors, he told me that door order already placed in JAZ Enterprises, Chennai. He committed the doors will come in 5 days (Still Chimney and Hob are pending). Doors not received as committed by him, then I made a ring to him he ignored my calls. Then I called JAZ Enterprises and they replied me that NO ORDERS RECEIVED FROM BALASUBRAMANIAN. After 10000(???) rings to BALASUBRAMANIAN he doesn’t have courtesy to attend my calls. Then I personally visited JAZ Enterprises and booked the order with Advance payment. They took 5 days to finish the doors and I personally collected doors in their Thoraipakkam factory. HERE I ACTED AS A LOAD MAN CUM DELIVERY BOY. After several follow-ups and pressure to BALASUBRAMANIAN to bring Chimney and Hob, finally he given one Mr.Lalithkumar’s number (Chimney dealer in Chennai), I spoke with him personally to deliver Chimney and Hob. He told me many fraud stories about BALASUBRAMANIAN and asked me to commit payment on delivery. After receiving the material as per BALASUBRAMANIAN I dint paid money till now. HERE I ACTED AS FRAUD. Now Mr.Lalithkumar calling me and asking how to catch BALASUBRAMANIAN.  I already postponed the House warming ceremony two times due to Kitchen work delay. I fixed to do House warming ceremony on 20th August. This is third time. Now BALASUBRAMANIAN committed me to finish the work before 20th. Again he failed in his commitments. On 19th night I asked my company's carpenter to fix the GAS Hob for House warming ceremony and fix Kitchen doors. Because of time constraint he fixed only 5 doors in the Kitchen. I asked my builder to paint the walls after finishing the Kitchen work. My bad luck without finishing the painting work I have done house warming ceremony on 20th Morning. It was a big shame I ever met in my life time EVEN I AM A RELATIVE OF A POLITICAL VVIP IN CHENNAI. As of now I didn't involve them into the picture.  After House warming ceremony I contacted BALASUBRAMANIAN to finish my work. He committed me twice but not turned. After so many follow-ups now he committed to finish the work on Today (06/09/10). But no carpenters as of now.  Even I spoke with him left and right............Even I scolded his house members .......still he made false commitments. WHAT CAN BE DONE?  IF ANYBODY WANT I CAN GIVE THE CARPENTER MOBILE NO, CHIMNEY DEALER MOBILE NO, JAZ ENTERPRISES NO AND BALASUBRAMANIAN's HOUSE ADDRESS. I FEEL HE SPENT LOTS OF CUSTOMERS MONEY TO DEVELOP HIS COMPANY WEBSITE (Welcome to World Wood Modular Kitchen), it looks and give great hopes to a visitor.  I HEREBY CONCLUDE THAT BALASUBRAMANIAN IS HABITUALLY CHEATING OTHERS AND ENJOYING/LIVING WITH OTHERS MONEY. I immediatly called her and asked for replacement, she gave me a false committment of getting it replaced by comming saturday. But no body turned up neither communicated us for any further action.thus i along with my husband visited the store to get it replaced, there again ms lalita conveynced us and asked us for 3days time to resolve the issue and arrange for replacement. Since then a week passed but no body turned up .mean while my husband was reguressly following -up with Mr syeed for resoling the issue. Mr syeed came up with a middle way by offering us Rs 8000/ disc. Earlier we were not at all comfertable to accept defective piece for a disc of Rs 8000/ but as both me and my husband are working, and have only weekend off, finally thought to talk to Mr syeed, visited the store as by now we also lost the hope to have a fresh piece, but Mr syeeed and Ms lalita were not present in the store and we were introduced to Mr Anand , to whom we narrated the whole insident, he again asked for 10min to come with solution. Mr anand made us waite for 1 and half hr. and finally offered us disc of 11950/ i.e 50% disc every defective piece/on cost we paid. There we insisted on 60% disc. as at the back of our mind we also hoped to have a fresh piece, and we left with no solution again. After a span of 4-5days Mr syeed appeared to our place and told to give us entire cash back as they cannot provide fresh piece along with the offer of Rs 8000/ which was still valid. Then i finally told him to give a disc of 50% that Mr anand has offered along with repaire of sofa. Mr syeed agreed to repair but said cannot provide 50% disc as that is too high. I tolled him Mr anand has offered us 50% disc. he then confirmed it from him and mr anand streight way denied from the fact that any such offer was given to us. now finally the furniture has been taken back by life stye irrespective of the fact that they have fresh piece available in their chennai location, as told by Ms lalita, i just need to no who is going to compensate for the lose and false committments given by lifestyle. And even after paying why cant we get fresh piece from their side which is still available with them. lifestyle took more than 1 month to resolve the issue, that too by taking back the sofa set, if this was to be done they could have done it earlier, as that time attrective offers were available with other stores as well. Now being a consumer we are victim, as neither we got sofa set, and faced the harrasment of every time visiting the store and sitting unattended for more than hrs.our cash of Rs 57800/ was blocked form 18/7/2010. the day it was debited from our account. please take appropriate action and compensate for the loss. and also give explaination why fresh pice was not provided even when the same was available</description>

Immediately the same was reported to the concerned dept from where the purchase was made and we were assured once again of an immediate help within the next couple of days. We been asked to send the mail which we did along with the pictures of the concern, we been committed to get all the four parts replaced in 2~3 days which they have said already started from Bangalore &amp; they have made a temporary repair arrangement. There after we are regulaly following it up for the same getting another false commitment of further 2~3 days. Not one has yet called us till date. We used to follow up with Mr Satish, the so called Manager of the Mall but now its almost 2 months, the management is not ready to give the money back or deliver the items. This is too much of harassment and mental torture, I don’t know what is going to happen to the money I have paid.                  <description>i had purchased a bed from style spa company ltd, varanasi, utter Pradesh,after one year i have remove our mattress from bed for cleaning the bed then i had saw the bed furniture was broken. i had complain the local address as well as company web side by mail &amp; telephone. after some days one man from local service center has visited in our place &amp; watch the condition of plywood but he was not getting any decision &amp; tell me informing on my mobile from your office. but i had ring a lot of time in style spa show room number but not getting proper response about this.</description>

                 <title>Cheating in Hyderabad</title>

                 <description>We had ordered one Sofa cum bed + two chairs + one tea-poy (everything made of metal with mat finish powdered coating) on 16th March 2010 from M/s. Tip Top Steel Furnitures,Nampally Station road, Opp.Andhra Bank,Adjacent to Kakatiya Hotel, ( date is mentioned on receipt given by shop owner, M.A.Arram) by paying advance of Rs.10,000/- against the total bill amount of Rs.14,650/-(excluding transport charges). The shop owner promised us to deliver our sofa within 8 days. We called him on 22nd April 2010 and asked whether the sofa is ready or not. He said it is ready and we can visit his shop to see the same. So we visited the shop on 23rd March 2010. The sofa was actually not ready at that time. On 24th our guests were coming to stay, so we agreed to take another sofa on temporary basis. The shop owner agreed to replace the same when our actual sofa gets ready. Along with the sofa he agreed to send the tea-poy. At that time we gave him Rs. 3,000/- more as advance as he was giving us the service for our need. We received one sofa and one tea-poy (chairs were not sent) on 23rd night.  When our guest left, we informed him on 10th Apr 2010. Initially we told him to deliver our sofa (which we had ordered according to our choice) and then take back replacement sofa (which was not our choice and was just taken on temporary basis for our guests). He requested to send the sofa, saying that he will prepare our sofa by taking measurements from this replacement sofa. On 14th Apr 2010, he sent the vehicle and took the sofa back. Since then we called him for number of times for sofa. But he was not giving right response. Either he was not receiving our call, or he used to reject it. Even if he receives the call, he is giving many excuses and every time asking for another 2-3 days to make our sofa ready. After huge follow-ups for about one month, we gave him final ultimatum for delivering our sofa or else to return the money. He was still saying that he will deliver the sofa within 2 days. Then on 16th May 2010, we went to his shop as per ultimatum. Our sofa was still not ready. He was giving some excuses and promising us to deliver it in another 3 days. As we do not believe on his words we demanded to return our money back. He got angry and denied to return money. Further he denied giving sofa also. We protested strongly and went to Abids police station. Police asked both parties to come on next day. We went on next day to the police station. The Shop owner was still denying in front of police, for giving money as well as material. He was firm on his statement even after police intervention and asked us to go to court. He thought that we are not localities and have come here for job from another state and we won’t go into court and he will be free to do another fraud. But we have decided to go to Consumer court. Can anybody help us? </description>

                 <description>Purchased Dining Table (DT6S Set HV Glory Cappucino 15974)from M/s Home Solutions Retail (India) Ltd., Basement, Great India Place, Noida vide Order No. 2000040365dt.28.11.2009 and Invoice No. 37482433 dated 29.11.2009.  Within six months of purchase, two chairs have broken and the table also got loosened.  When complained to the sellers regarding replacement of the dining table set (along with chairs), we are informed that only damaged chairs would be replaced and nothing else is possible. We requested the sellers to replace this table set with a higher grade which has sturdiness and we are willing to pay the differential amount. However, the sellers are not accepting this.  As the dining table set is under Warranty and the customer is not at all satisfied with it, sellers should be advised to replace / upgrade the set with a new one as a special case. Further, it is also not clear if someone gets hurt while sitting on the chairs. Hence this request.  </description>
