Dreadful Service from Global India Packers and Movers - Gurgaon
I had transported home goods from Gurgaon to Nasik through Global India Packers and Movers on 16th Sep. I was told by Mr Choudhary (9310006749) - the man who got in touch with for the quotation etc. that the goods would arrive in Nasik on 20th Sep. On 20th Sep - I called to get the status of the goods and was told by Mr Choudhary that he will call back but her never did. In the night, I got a call from the driver saying that they have reached Nasik and will get the goods the next day in the morning. The next day I waited till afternoon but no update. I called the driver and his phone was switched off. Mr Choudhary had no idea of what was happening - again he said he will call back - no update. I had given a post dated cheque for 21 Sep of Rs. 37,700 (approx.) which was cashed the same day. I asked Mr Choudhray why was the cheque presented when I had clearly stated that the money should be taken after the goods have arrived - he did not answer and made it a complete joke. He never called me to give any update - finally I got to know that the truck broke down and we will have to wait till another truck could reach and collect the goods. Again each day I was told that the goods would arrive the next day 0 but it did not and all this while not even one update was given by Mr Choudhray proactively – I had to follow up for everything!
I was told that I would be paid Rs. 500 for per day for the delay – the goods finally arrived on 25 the Sep. When the goods arrived – a lot of things were damaged:
1) Glass Table
2) Washing Machine Lid
3) Legs of 3 wooden beds
4) Baby wooden cradle
5) Plasma TV – a line on the TV
When I called Mr Choudhary again – he did not answer but a man called Rajiv. He introduced himself as the Chief or something and showed a lot of compassion to my complaint. He assured me that he will take care of everything – as we also had taken insurance. He promised to keep me updated. Today it has been a week and there was no proactive update from Rajiv… they are series of emails that I have written to them that I can support. Today when I called them – he is not answering the phone… the same no.
This has been a series of lie and worst customer service for me… I really hope you that you can look into my complaint and get me justice here. Thank you
