                 <description>I bought a navrathna necklace from Joy Alukkas in 2010. They told me all the stones in it are original and if at all I want to exchange, later I will get maximum amount just deducting small percentage. Last week I went to Joy Alukkas shop to exchange this with some other things. I was surprised to see the amount they are deducting from it. If I calculate the current value I had paid nearly AED 4,500 which is almost Rs 50,000. But their offer is Rs 20,000. I said where is the rest of the money gone, if the stones doesn't have any value while returning, you should have deducted that value when I bought the necklace. This is typical fraud case and false promise from Joy Alukkas. Be careful with Diamond and stones. when you buy gold with stones they don'd deduct stone weight. But when you return back they deduct the stone weight. In other words you are paying gold price for stones. Customer needs to be well aware of this cheating and needs to be taken to the social networking sites to spread the awareness.</description>

                 <description>My harikrishnan.R.Nair got this titan watch gifted by one of the Bossaround 6 months back,very recently the glass got broken.I taken my watch to the nearest titan authorised service center(World of titan in kottayam)on 11/10/2011.,The technician accepted the watch and told me that it needs to be send to the company for repairing.after two three weeks i gone their to collect the same.He explained that this particular model got stopped,so its very difficult to repair the same.My whole family is using the titan products,this is my first experience.In the showroom i still seen the model selling.(My model number is 9279sl G).NEVER EXPECTED THIS FROM TITAN.PLS UNDERSTAND THIS PARTICULAR WATCH IS PRECIOUS FOR ME.</description>

                 <description>Appended below is the detailed contents of the letter I wrote to Orra Diamond on 4-5-11 about the Humiliating &amp; Un-Professional attitude of their staff &amp; how I was duped by them:   Dear Rosyblue / Orra,  I felt very insulted &amp; annoyed visiting your store in Ludhiana, India by your staff Ms. Kuldeep Kaur.  My office is on the 1st floor of the same building where your showroom is located. In April 2009, first time I went to your showroom &amp; bought a platinum ring for my wife &amp; subsequently I was perused by another staff member Mrs. Dolly to enroll for a monthly kitty for Rs.2000.00 in my wife’s name etc.  As my wife never visited your store for kitty, I use to pay the kitty amount to Ms. Kuldeep or Mrs. Dolly. As it was not a routine practice for me, I never asked for the receipt on a good faith. 1 or 2 times I was provided the receipt at the showroom &amp; 1 receipt was sent to my office. Total 3 receipt’s I got.   It never came in to my mind that it can be a loss to me. Once I forgot the kitty for 1 month &amp; gave Rs.4000.00 next month to either of the one of your staff, which I clearly remember, but was never entered in their records. The payment for last 2 kitties only (Rs.4000.00) was to be paid. When my wife visited your store few months back to clear the same, was told that payment for the total 5 kitties is balance. This was a shock to me. Anyhow, I told my wife that there is no point in arguing now, as it is my mistake not to get all the receipts &amp; maybe it is a lesson for me not to trust anyone on financial matter and would give them the total amount Rs.10,000.00 &amp; clear the chapter.   For this purpose, I went to your store to meet Ms. Kuldeep Kaur to clear the total balance. Before starting the conversation, I noticed that she was very uncomfortable. I had a very good repo with her, as on Aug-10; I did my second purchase also. I just told her in a very healthy tone that I’ve come here to clear the total balance as per her records. Though, I have lost Rs.6000.00 in kitty account but expect you to give me a better discount in my next purchase to cover the loss. That’s all.  She immediately started speaking in a very loudly &amp; unhealthy manner, like what do you mean that we are cheat, it is your responsibility to take receipt, &amp; other foul words etc. I was literally taken aback. I told her that I am here to clear the total amount you have asked for &amp; never said you anything harsh. But she seemed to be in a pre conceived notion, that she has to say these words to me anyway, whenever I visit her for the same. It was really very shocking. I just told her that the words you are saying to me were actually to be told by a customer to you. But in my case I’m giving you the total money &amp; asking you to clear the same. But, it seems that she was not expecting such gentle behavior from me. She might’ve expecting that I would argue with her, &amp; when I did not, she got confused &amp; started speaking the foul language what she might’ve been rehearsing for long.  I feel very lucky that while making purchase in Aug-10, I was again being lured to enroll in a kitty &amp; this time for Rs.10, 000.00. Which, I never opted. Otherwise, the future loss would’ve been much higher.   Anyhow, I handed over Rs.10, 000.00 to her &amp; asked for the receipt. By hearing her raised voice, some other person of your staff came &amp; asked me that I should go to my office &amp; he would send the invoice &amp; would collect the money afterwards; as the system is not working right know. And she banged the money on the table. What an attitude! It was 10:40am in the morning. Around 3:30pm I called up that gentleman (his name I dn’t know) &amp; was told that the system is still not working. At 6pm I again called up &amp; got the same reply. When I insisted for a confirmed reply, I was told to contact in the morning. What a reply! I feel they are doing it deliberately just to harass me &amp; it also feels like that I’ve purchased something from a roadside vendor. Very un-professional attitude.  I would request you to pl. look in to the matter &amp; ask them to clear the account.  It was a very humiliating experience in deed. As per order i was supposed to get three bags of dimonds (Each worth Rs. 5000/-) with certificate, one bag full of costume jewellery by Afreen (worth Rs.5000/-) &amp; a bag (worth Rs. 475/-) because I had made advance payment through credit card.  After registering complain at this site they had send the delivery but it was shocking to see that packet which was send to me was containing three bags of dimonds of 0.1 cent each (as printed on it) without any certificate of authenticity &amp; quality &amp; jewelry of not more than Rs.50/-(two rubber/ plastic malas, one rubber/plastic bracelet &amp; one gold plated aluminium bracelet). Bag as promised for advance payment was also missing.  This type of cheating is not extected from India today Group. Even on 9 Mar 2011, I requested for cancelling the order. After that nearly everyday I have called and got the same reply "Order not updated" and nearly everyday a new request no. has been provided stating the order cancellation. However till today the order is not updated yet and neither it has been cancelled nor the amount has been credited to my account. I am being charged by the credit card bank at the rate of 3.5% per month. I booked the product and told that it will be delivered soon.    Delivery of a box was done on Monday 20th March at my residenc. The delivery guy took the money Rs 3200 (3000 + 200 as courier charges ) and did not allow to inspect the goods, neither any bill was given. It was told that if any problem the company will replace anything amiss.   Subsequently we found that all the bangles given in the box were too small. When I called at 931414444 the number where the delivery was booked - they say that it would be done at 011 32551343 - the complain no. The number could not be contacted despite several trials. When finally they came on line on 24.3.2011, they were adamant that this is the standard size and can not be changed. When I show dissatisfaction in having a product which is not usuable, he got irritated. The 2 rajasthani kada was not the original and its worth rs.50/-. 5 pearl tops chain has faded its color. 2 set of necklace is not a gold plated and is enamel paint and there is not a single stones. I complaint it on the same day and complaint no. 52913 name sunitha for replacement or give my money back. after 2 mths they are asking me to send the parcel back without any acknowledgement and in my own expenses. All the add/offer is Newspapers and on net as readers /shop19/ 58888/ indiatimes.com is fake/cheaters and I suggest to all the newspaper readers and net users and all my indian citizens not buy such products. Even the exeuctives do not have the minimum basis human courtesty to respond, than trapping the customer very efficiently. On November 15, 2010 again Bag It Today representatives, viz: Mr. Ashish Agrawal and Karthik, quoting as Senior Executives..contacted me and on hearing my pleas on earlier transactions, they assured me that they will personally see that all my items are despatched within 2 days..and they trapped me giving assurances and promises for 3 packs of diamonds consisting 35 pcs..of 1 carrat alongwith necessary quality certificates and free gifts of 2 sets of magpie tea sets..2 Nos. of magpie snack bowls, cutlery sets, satyapaul tie, Pooja thalis, candle stand etc..and my Booking ID is 88074845 and order Nos. are OGA 10001940 and OGA 100040175 in all I have made payment to the tune of Rs.25,000/- through credit card.  A total of Rs.32,000 + for all the above 3 orders. I have spend telephone charges more than the amount I paid throughout these years..But, all these time I could hear only recorded message from their end as All our Executives are busy with other customers..please wait. How long one can wait on phone line and for how many years? Such type of cheating and fradulennt dealings from such an Organisation like Bag It Today is uncalled.  Now I have left with no alternative than to approach the Consumer forum, since Neither am I able to contact the customer care center or to contact any of their executives..  Very shameful act from the part of the company.</description>

For last 2 and half years I've been using a Titan 1335SAA and all of asudden it has gone slow.So I've taken it to one of your service stations at Guwahati named GENEX WATCH CO.Dealers and makers of your product on 9th of september.I also requested them for a dial that is in the rectangular shape.First they said that the battery is slow need to change the battery but very next moment said the machine is not functioning. So as suggested by them I've left the watch in their custody and asked them for the estimation( machine service + dial box charges)but they said it'll be communicated to me over phone as they have kept my cell no and provided me a receipt no 1606.    Today on 12th Sept at around 5.10 PM I gave a call from my end as the dealer didn't inform and asked for the estimation in return they kept the phone without answering any thing. Then I called again and asked as they disconnected the line and in reply they said it need some time as there was a bandh in Assam for 2 days and i disconnected the line but soon after few seconds i got a call from the same no and lady from the other end said "you can take back your watch we can't provide service in urgency basis, take it to Fancy Bazar".I said Mam i's asking for the estimation and you are saying to take it back, is there any malor problem with the watch,She very rudely said it's our choice whether to provide service or not.On reply to the same I said ok you return it by mentioning that you are not going to provide service and i'll mail the same matter to Titan and she said "Do whatever you want to do" but take back your watch.(The full conversation is recorded.)  Dear Sir, is this the way a customer is getting service. If for getting service for a reputed product like Titan customer has to run from one service station to another then please educate the customer at the time of purchase that Service is our dealer's option,they may or they mayn't provide.    Kindly look in to the matter to avoid further escelations.      </description>

Kanpur vides Invoice No. Invoice No. CMO3266 dated 04.09 &amp; when checked their said invoice, it has been observed that the metal rate of 22 Karat has not been calculated as per the standard practice.  The rate of gold ( 24 Karat) as on 04.09.10 was displayed on their board as Rs. 1915.00 per Gram whereas the rate has been invoiced as Rs. *1890.00 per Gram.  In the international Market there was no such rate of 24 Karat i.e Rs. 2062.00 per gram (1890/22*24=2062.00). This indicates that misleading information is being passed on to the customers &amp; wrong billing is being done at their end.  *Needless to mention here that Ornaments rate is always quoted separately since other than gold other metals are also used to prepare the ornaments. IN REPLY, THE MAN ON OTHER SIDE OF PHONE CURTLY TOLD THAT "THESE ARE OLD DIRTY TRICKS OF MARKETING PEOPLE BUT I AM HELPLESS, I CANNOT DESPETCH YOUR VOUCHER UNLESS I GOT ANOTHER RUPEES FIFTEEN THOUSAND THROUGH YOUR CREDIT CARD."                  <description>In 2008, I purchased a Pukhraj (Yellow Sapphire) stone from KK Jewellers, Noida, for Rs. 25000. Unluckily, I did not get the same tested/certfied elsewhere. Last week, when I approached KK Jewellers to buy back the stone from me, they refused saying the value of the stone was 'zero'! I was aghast. So, I got the stone tested. The test report confirmed that the stone was a Yellow Saphhire, but its value at today's rates was about Rs. 6000. No wonder, KK Jewellers was not willing to buy back the stone from me. So, if you are planning to buy any gold or precious stones from KK, think again and again. The store is den of cheats.</description>

                 <title>Watches not despached even after 39 days</title>

                 <description>Hi,   This is Sai Pratap from Bangalore.  I had placed order for three watches on 08-06-2010, with Order No:880126801, I paid about Rs. 8700+ including handling charges of Rs.299/- for 3 watches. The executive who made the booking told his name is Vikram.  But, as I dint receive any reply from Indiatoday I called them on 28-06-2010, after spending more than 3 hours and calling nearly 8 times, with all efforts I was able to reach the person so called Vikram who had booked my order earlier.  But, I received a shocking reply from him that, my order is not dispatched as whatever handling charges told by him is not correct, and I have to pay handling charges individually for each watch amounting to Rs. 299*3=897, I was wondering how a company like Indiatoday cheat people like this taking handling charges of about Rs. 900 for dispatch of watches with in India, even though I ordered in one single lot, they also told me unless I make this balance payment for another 2 handling charges my order wont be processed.  When I indicated that it was Indiatoday who told the charges earlier and billed accordingly on my credit card and happily taken my money. And also when I pointed their second mistake, India today should had informed me immediately after the booking date that additional handling charges to be paid, and why they kept quite for 20 days and that too when I called then only they replied the status, this clearly shows the kind of services they are running, and their was absolutely no answer to both of their mistakes. Again I paid what ever additional handling charges on 28-06-2010.  As on date(14-07-2010) it is almost 40 days I paid money and I am yet to receive my watches, worst thing is no one will give proper answer for the status of my watches.  Its high time that some one from India today who is responsible, should take account of this and initiate immediate action in dispatching my watches and take necessary action for the shoddy work done by their staff.  Some one tell please reverse my additional handling charges which is not correct in business ethics, and plese reply to my mail, my mail ID saipratapone@hotmail.com   Regards,  SP </description>

ICICI had confirmed the payment Rs.2199/- through SMS available with us in my mobile. Mr Visal told me the material delivered to you within 5 days. ARAMAX Courier Hyderabad deliveryman Mr Manoj Jha came at my residence address 285 Sector 5 , Chiranjiv Vihar, Ghaziabad U.P. , on 2nd July but he demanding Rs.2199/- for material cost. I have reqested pl. see my mobile SMS the payment is already made by ICICI but he denied to delivered material and say if company Hyderabad Pearl e mail to my company ARAMAX Courier and Aramax will informed Manoj Jha the i will deliveredmaterial to you. Immidiately I contacted by mob.to Hyderabad Pearls customercare officer RENU on 2nd july same day ,she assured me that i wlldo and material delivered tomorrow. Next day 3rd july 2010, again called customercare, DEEPALItaken all information and say pl. hold the call i will tell youthe position, but after 15Min. hold she disconnect call. This is loss of time as well as money,.I have email to their customercare on 2nd,3rd,4th, and today 5th July(REMINDER) but they don;t give me response. This material is booked to gift to my Cousins sisters  marriage.                  <description> We have purchased a Finger ring from Tanishq, C. G. Road Ahmedabad on 24/03/2010. We firmly believed that the Tanishq design are the result of extensive Research and Development. But to our surprise the four corners of the top of the Ring were as sharp as point of a knife. On wearing the ring it wounded the other hand and other body parts by creating deep bruises there. The product was health hazard and injurious to the well being of the customer. This was very disappointing for such a brand with the name of Tanishq.  We took up the matter with the Tanishqu H.O. We were advised to deposit the product with C G Road, Ahmedabad boutique and get the product to the factory service cell to analyse and revert back to us with the proper solution at the earliest. We were given complaint no. 20100408 for your future reference. We had deposited the product with the C. G Road, Ahmedabad store on15/04/2010 vide their Customer Complaint Acknowledge Form No. 5326 dated 15/04/2010. Since than more than two months have passed. We have made a number of Telephone Call and sent various e-mails. But we have been sent on a wild goose chase each and every time we contact the customer care officer at the company H.O. Each time she tells us to visit the showroom and get another Ring in place of that. But each time we visit the store, we find that there is no variety (i. e. almost of similar weight and of the same pattern of design) in the product category we have bought. We feel trapped by a company having such a good reputation. We feel cheated by the company. The staff is apathetic and put off on one pretext or other rather to help us in solving the problem created out of sell of hazardous product by the company. The customer care officer at the company H.O. did not offer any workable or practical solution. If a TATA company use to sell health hazard product than kindly advise us that who will help us.   </description>
