But he refused to meet till last date and the last date passed. After that i submitted application on 4/10/10 to vice chancellor for fee refund and a copy to HOD on 5/10/10. HOD didn't signed it and put it in file to accept later. As per new govt. rules if i am not taking any services from university then University has to refund my fee. My son (Sanjay Gaur) applied for M.Tech and his choices were Database systems, IT and Knowledge Engineering. 2. He qualified the entrance exam and got 104 rank. On receiving the counseling letter he reached at Kattankulathur campus for counseling on 17-06-2010. 3. At the time of counseling the Dean Admission told in his speech that student has to submit their fees and final semester mark sheet on or before July 15 2010. 4. When counseling process started, some steps followed which rules neither mentioned in university prospectus, Application form, admission advertisement & nor in university website (admission Procedure). 5. At the time of counseling the counseling staff member checked the all documents along with MCA marksheet till 5th semester & allowed for the counseling. 6. Before locking the seat, submitting the draft of Rs. 25000-/, we asked from the present counseling staff member that my son will get his final marksheet in September 2010, for this proof he carried a letter from study centre of university. Counseling member said, if you will get signature of dean (admission) then we will be allowed for seat lock. 7. When we met Dean (Admission), I told him about my problem and he refused that and said I will not allow. Final mark sheet will have to submit on July 15, 2010. If you can’t submit the marksheet on given date then you can go back. 8. We requested many times from him but he didn’t agree. 9. I asked to Dean Admission that it is not mentioned in your university prospectus ,admission advertisement and university website that appearing student 2009-2010 has to submit their final marksheet on date July 15, 2010. 10. If this had been mentioned by university, my son would not have filled the form. He didn’t get admission that’s why he has lost his one year in his career. 11. You should have clearly mentioned in your admission advertisement /admission procedure that only those students will apply in Post Graduate course who can submit their final mark sheet on July 15, 2010. 12. Not only this, lots of other student returned back from the counseling because they don’t have 60% marks in each year. Also this is not mention by university. (these rules were not mentioned on prospectus, advertisement and nor web site of yours university) You should have given the option for this (on your entrance/Application form) & you could have rejected those forms which were not satisfying your criteria and it should have been mentioned that those student will apply who has 60% marks in each semester/year. 13. Please clear this thing that why isn’t it clearly mentioned for the final year appearing student 2009-2010. a. Is your university playing the student’s future by doing this? b. Is entrance has the way of earning money? Why didn’t you proper mention the rules for new admissions in P.G. programmed? c. Is your university not wasting the money and time of both student and parents? Those people who comes from so far (2000 to 3000kms) d. After receiving the money, they again took from me my original scoresheets, but neither they returned the scoresheets nor issued the degree certificate nor paid me back Rs.500/- that they allegedly took from me in an unusual and illegal way. I completed all the papers, except the paper code 205. I secured 60% and 59% in the 1st and 2nd semesters respectively.I am unable to know the result of the 4th semester. I appeared for this paper for the 3rd time on 19.12.2009, and in the last month. the result got published.In this field, the course remains invalid, and I have no scope for applying for review, as there is no rule for review in the distance mode. Hence, there is a total wastage of money, time, and energy.I am an unemployed girl. In my academic career, I never waited for a second chance, except this M.B.A program. I completed the B.A with Hons. in English with 57.87% under the University of Burdwan in regular mode, and completed the M.A. in English inder the same university through the distance mode with 52.62%(not waited for second chance). With your kind permission, I want to inform you that I attempted 6 or 7 , 23, and 32 marks in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd chances respectively.I secured 27 and 36 in the 1st and 2nd chances respectively.I also completed the assignment paper. I was not permitted to apply for review, as the rule prevents. But, I was permitted to appear for the examination (205, for the 3rd chance) without admit card, as the admit was somehow sent to the study centre in Kolkata;but I always appeared from the study centre in Burdwan(WIIL Academy, Birhata). At the time of the examination, I got enlisted in my own handwriting with the enrolment number (DDE/IRM/JULY/2007/70)and signature. This is also not included in the rule. Please, do not think this is my allegation, rather an earnest request to consider my situation. I am really in a great depression. Please do some positive, so that only the qualifying marks can be obtained. I was asked to collect the admit card on the date of the project viva, that was on the 25th of February, 2010, and after that I was asked to collect the admit card after a week, I went to do so , but the printer was not ready, and I was asked to come after a month. Naturally, I went to the distance building in the first week of the month of April, and got the card. Please do some positive . It is my earnest request to you. Please consider my situation.After all, rules and regulations are made for the welfare of mankind. I know that there is no place of emotion, but I am requesting you to consider this fact from the humanitarian point of view. Besides, there is also the scope for review for the distance M.A. students.
