                 <title>Unsatisfactory service &amp; harassment to the IFB customers</title>

                 <description>Sub. : Unsatisfactory service &amp; harassment to the IFB customers Ref. : Customer ID no.. 837912, Complaint No 8467201 dated : 15-3-2012  Dear Sir, On the subject, I have to inform you, the very unsatisfactory services of your authorized service centre &amp; harassment to your valuable customer.  For your ready reference, some concerned particulars of the case are mentioned below.  Name of the Purchaser: Mr. Raj Pal Sharma Address : B-7/5,Ramesh Nagar, Double Storey,New Delhi-15 Contact No. : (M) 93122-20503.  I had purchased IFB Washing Machine few year back &amp; since its purchase I have preferred to get its AMC from the Company so that I may not face any hardship as far its services are concerned. But now I feel that the company has cheated me &amp; not provided the required services which any genuine purchaser wants from a company like IFB.  New AMC has also been taken from the authorized dealer/service centre i.e. Mr. Kathuria,Karan Pura for Rs. 4633.00 vide Company receipt R.No. 326/16296 i.e. 29.12.11 to 28.12.13.  For the last many days I have been constantly lodged Complaint on IFB Customer Care Centre to get the washing machine in working order but sorry to record that every time it has been delayed one reason or the other. Latest Complaint No. is 8467201 dated 15.03.12 in addition to various verbal reminders on phone.   In the mean time, I have also made extra payment of Rs,1250 ( In addition to above AMC charges) vide cash Memo no. 163/2 dated 28.03.12.  It is not possible for me to narrate full storey of harassment being made by the Company or its authorized centre but in brief it may be mentioned that I am fed up now the assurances which have been given by them to rectify the fault of my Washing Machine &amp; put it in working condition.  Here, you will appreciate that now a days, Whashing Machine is such essential daily requirement of the house wives which can’t be delayed for few hours but in my case no. of days have passed but my grievance has not been resolved by a company of repute like yours when half of the cost of the machine ( AMC Charges plus Rs. 1250.00) has already been paid by me to overcome all such hardships.  In light of the above, I approach your good office to please take prompt action in the matter to resolve my grievance once for all.  Thanking you, (Rajpal Sharma) B-7/5,Ramesh Nagar, Double Storey New Delhi-15 </description>

                 <description>I posted a complaint about Haiyer Washing machine here on 20th March morning. Around 10am,21st morning I got a call from their Mumbai office and got the Complaint No. HYD 123200085. The person Prashant promised me that I will get a call from the service personnel within 24hrs. I got a call from a local service personnel on 22nd at 1.06pm. Since he didn't have everything my machine needed and since I was at work, he said he would call me at 6pm and decide on his time of service. Never called again.It is 8.34am on 24th, i.e. 4days have passed since I complained and Haiyer is yet to act on that action!! Never imagined that their post-sale service will be of such a grievous quality!!!I should have listened to the advice of some of my friends and not bought a Haiyer product!! Such a shame!</description>

Since I had used a washing machine before, I started using it. Now I need a change both the ‘inlet’ and the ‘outlet’ pipes, but there’s no place I can go to. The phone numbers that I got on the internet as Haier Customer Care numbers don’t work. Now I am in a terrible situation. I cannot use my machine, cannot get it mended. Now I am also getting to know that Haier Customer care is terrible. They don’t care once the product is sold.                  <description>we have taken washing of videocon on 31 july 2010, in which,still it is in warranty,period.  now, after six months using, its each and every part of the machine has change by the companys tchnician, though it is not working properly.   We convince them to replace the machine, they say we cant replace, but we can repair each and every time. for every 15 days i have to complain them about the maching not working properly, now they wont listen and doesnt comes to repair also.   We talk to companies person also, they say, machine could not be change,.   what can be done, please help.   Thank you.</description>

                 <title>harassment in attending to complaints despite a 2year AMC</title>

                 <description>I have been harrased with respect to the repair of my ifb washing machine duly covered under AMC by the service centre at sector-44 NOIDA.  It had stopped fning 3 mths back.I regd a complaint,atechnician turned up only after 3 days and replaced a part which turned out to be a non original recycled one and led to serious disruption in the wassh cycle of the machine.IT STOPPED RINSING CLOTHES ALTHOUGH THE WASH CYCLE WOULD GET COMPLETED AS USUAL.  Then began my nightmare for the next 3 months--1)Making daily call to the IFB Helpline.2)Speaking to the Area in-charge Mr. Sawant everyday who seemed helpless as the people at the service centre did not listen to him.THE TECHNICIANS AT THE NOIDA CENTRE HAVE VERY POOR TRAINING SPLY ON DIGITAL MACHINES.They would come and declare the machine faultfree for they had no idea about rinsing function carried out by the machines. After 3 harrowing mths and daily reminders to the area manager the service centre finally got the fault rectified.But by this time I suffered a loss in terms of several working days at ooffice as the manager would tell us that the technicians wd come at a particular time but wud never come.  We also learnt that the unscrupulous people running these so called service centres try to fool unsuspecting clients by fixing recycled or god knows, even fake parts in machines. Further IFB does not check on credentials of these franchisees and just hands over such responsible job to them which not only ruins their own brand image but also makes the customers feel cheated and decide-NEVER TO GO IN FOR IFB PRODUCTS THEMSELVES AND ALSO TO ADVISE OTHERS AGAINST IT CATEGORICALLY. Another fact that comes to light by my experience,as admitted by technicians themselves is that people with AMC are last on the list of priorities of the service centres for they have already paid a hefty amt which is safely in the pockets of the agency, while other complainants are a potential source of cash.  Last LIMO a wash additive provided by IFB on sale is always in short supply.   </description>

                 <description>Dear concern, A Samsung washing machine was purchased by us from the dealer Vinod Enterprises ist floor Dr. Rastogi Clinic ,Greek ganj-Sitapur on 23/03/2010.Ist of all nobody from the company came to my residence to give the Demo. of machine,From first day there was a manufacturing problem in the machine for which i have logged a call to the dealer but no call was logged by the dealer in the co.as i was posted in Reliance Life Insurance Co.LTD,Gola br.so no enquiry was made by me regarding the complaint due to the lack of time.After some time when i got time on enquiring i came to know about the fact then after i logged too many calls regarding my problem &amp; i request to replace the machine as the machine is in warranty period but couldn't get any satisfactory resolution to my problem &amp; all the times i was cheated by both the employee of the Samsung Co.as well as by the dealer.Now an untrained machanic named, Bipin was sent to us for repairing the machine but he couldn't repair the machine.After this act of machanic now the machine is not in working condition.As you can see in the attachment that from a long time we are suffering by financially,physically &amp; mentally.Plz help us to resolve the problem. </description>

But he did not even do anything and told that we have to sent it to service center.   I dont understand as this was done because it was under warranty period and you people are not paid??. Do u people dont even do basic things like cleaning or stuff when we lodge a complaint????   Sorry to say but it was really dissatisfied experience where company is known for "Best Post Sales Service"   Regards</description>

                 <description>Machine started functioning with high speed. The Service centre took initiative in sending the mechanic on time. But the person deputed for the purpose is not having required know how. Started replacing one after the other as the reason was beyond his reach. I have to wait weeks together to get the spare parts even. This is not a healthy sign for a reputed firm like IFB as we always stand for quality. Still the problem remain unsolved and I don't think that your service centre at Thrissur can sole the problem with the available untrained service men. Please have a solution on this issue.</description>

                 <description>I had made a complaint about too much noise in the IFB washing machine on 25.11.10 - no.5474885. This complaint was closed without attending to the problem. I was asked to give another complaint which I gave on 11.12.10 - no.5546951.The bearings were changed but the problem continued so gave another complaint on 27.12.10 - no. 5625625. After a lot of follow up a person came on 13.01.11 and told that shock absorbers are gone and that he will replace them the next day. No action till date. Yesterday I received a call from IFB for renewal of the AMC. When I brought the pending complaint to his notice he said that he will come and check up the machine yday itself. He also told me that the no.of complaints are too high so there is a delay.</description>

                 <title>CHEATING BY IFB FRANCHISE</title>

                 <description> Hi,  I WISH TO BRING TO YOUR ATTENTION THE LOOT BEING DONE BY YOUR FRANCHISES TO YOUR IFB CUSTOMERS. i have purchased IFB SENATOR washing machine two years back. Its warranty period is over two months back. I have not taken the AMC till now.  I had a small problem of detergent suds coming out of detergent tray, for which i made a complaint to the call center and they had given the complaint to M/S PERFECT COOL SERVICE, D.N.NAGAR, ANDHERI-W, 02232240707, the local franchise of IFB. The technician called MR SANOJ visited my home on 20.12.2010 and after inspection of the machine said THAT THE TIMER IS DEFECTIVE AND NEEDS TO BE CHANGED. I told him , that machine has no problem , only detergent suds are coming out of the detergent tray. He tried to justify his stand and said that because timer is defective , it is throwing back all detergent through the detergent tray. I then asked him , what will happen if will not change the timer ( because i was having this problem , since many months and sometimes suds came out / sometimes not. To which he replied , that SOME BIGGER PROBLEM WILL HAPPEN , LIKE MOTOR / DRUM getting spoiled. Although i did not agreed to his argument, but fearing bigger loss , i agreed to change the timer. I asked him , whether he has brought new timer, to which he showed a timer from his bag, without any packaging ( in loose polythene ). It did not looked like a new timer at all nor it was present in company packaging / ifb logo. To which he replied , that it comes like that only from company.   But , as i had no option, i agreed to change the timer. When he was changing the timer, i tried that he changes in my presence, but he objected and said IT WILL TAKE LOT OF TIME. Then i moved to another room and within five minutes he came out and said that the job is done. 5 MIN back he was telling me IT WILL TAKE LOT OF TIME and within 5 min the job was done.   After that i paid him rs 2584 for changing the timer and rs 331 as visit charges . Then he asked us that HOW MUCH DETERGENT WE USE WHILE WASHING CLOTHES. We showed him the scoop which we were using. To WHICH HE REPLIED THAT YOU SHOULD USE HALF THE QUANTITY WE ARE USING IN FUTURE. Then he left.  All this raised some suspicion in my mind and decided to do some research on internet / IFB manual. I was surprised to read in the IFB MANUAL and internet sites , that there TWO CAUSES of leaking DETERGENT SUDS from detergent tray-  1- USE OF EXCESSIVE DETERGENT  2- USE OF WRONG DETERGENT.  I felt cheated after knowing this and I UNDERSTOOD THAT MR SANOJ has cheated me for rs 2584 by raising false alarm for TIMER, I do not think he has changed any timer. He just showed me the timer initially and later on he took the timer back with him, saying that this is company policy. IF I HAVE PAID FOR THE TIMER, IT IS MY FULL RIGHT TO KEEP THE TIMER WITH ME. but he insisted and took the timer back  Then i called up the customer care and told the entire story to one executive. She just gave me a number of MR BARI-992095251 and asked me to speak to him. She said he is a company manager. I called mr bari and asked him his designation. He said , i am the owner of the franchisee. I was surprised, but i told him the entire story once again, HE ALSO TOLD ME THAT THERE IS NO CONNECTION BETWEEN TIMER &amp; MY PROBLEM OF SUDS COMING OUT OF DETERGENT TRAY. He assured me that he shall send another senior engineer mr pandey for checking and shall refund my money. But no one came from their side and then when again i called up the next day, he said that MR SANOJ shall talk to you and mr pandey shall visit you. Mr sanoj called me up and tried to justify his stand , to which i did not agree.  after that from last two days i am calling mr bari and is not taking my call. I FEEL CHEATED BY IFB . KINDLY RETURN MY MONEY IMMEDIATELY AND TAKE NECESSARY ACTION AGAINST YOUR CHEATER FRANCHISE AND THEIR STAFF, OTHER WISE YOUR BRAND SHALL GO DOWN. ALREADY THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF COMPLAINT IN INTERNET ABOUT IFB AND THEIR FRANCHISES. AFTER SEEING THESE COMPLAINTS I HAD BOUGHT SIEMENS DISHWASHER AND NOT IFB .  KINDLY SOLVE MY PROBLEM ASAP . My Satisfaction Code is : 054 and SR No. CN121002299. The compliant was allotted to Mr. Subash Phone No. 9245867332. But the phone is switched off till date. He did not attend the fault.  I have already used Whirlpool semi automatic washing machine for a period of 10 years, there was no compliant. Therefore, kindly replace the machine immediately within warranty period, either with a semi automatic washing machine or a new fully automatic top load washing machine at the earliest.  Please reply within in 24 hours.  Thanking you,  V.                  <description>Hello –   Have purchased a LG Washing machine last month (2nd November’ 2010) and have hardly used it for 3-4 times. On 15th December’ 2010 when I tried to use it again to my surprise the machine was not working properly. The water in the tub was not able to get drained followed by which I called up the customer care and they informed me that they will send a technician in next 24 hours. The next day the technician came to inspect the machine and initially without doing a proper inspection of the machine was trying to frame the case as it was our mistake that probably there can be some coins or other any other obstacle which might have struck within the drainage line not allowing the water to get drained. Later on after insisting him to have a close look he opened up the machine and confirmed that the drainage motor is not working and eventually he changed it with a new one. On asking the reason why the drainage motor got damaged in such a short time as the machine is just one month old on which he said he is just a technician and don’t know anything and has asked to check with the LG regional/Zonal manager. First they told my problem will solved in one hour but again no response. So again I called them, they told within two hours my problem will solved, but I didn’t get any response. Then I called them by 12th Dec, 2010, No use in it, today also I am calling then continually, but I am not getting any response. After constant follow up I was told after a week that now the matter was in the hands of Mr.Subhankar Dev. When after several unresponded calls, I finally managed to speak to Mr.Dev on the 17th of November, he said he would revert in 10 days time, since he was trying to get the door safety switch organised for me. When I did not hear from him or anyone else from LG till the 29th of November, I called up Mr.Dev. To my disappoinment, his phone was picked by Sunil who informed me that he was in some training for two days and asked me to call after 7 p.m. in the evening. He said that the part was not available with him and he would call back by next day by 11:00 AM about the spare-part and future course of action.   3. 29th October 2010 – Nobody visited or called; but I got an SMS message from LG care that the service request was closed and the reason was “Customer will call again”.   4. 31st October 2010 – As if this was not enough, got an SMS again from LG care asking for feedback on quality of customer service!   5. 31st October 2010 – Lodged another service request after clearly expressing our displeasure at the way the earlier request was handled. The person at LG care end, expressed inability to “keep the earlier service request open” but promised to open a new one that would result in satisfaction. The new service request opened was – C10A3122902.   6. 1st November 2010 – No visit or call was made by any LG representative. A SMS however was received on 1st November that the service request was closed. Reason for closing as per SMS- “Customer will call again”.   7. 3rd November 2010 – A third service request was lodged again and given the reference number – C10B0318426. I also asked for a received the number of a senior person (Mr. Sunil Raina – mobile no: 98113 54749). In spite of repeated attempts, Mr. Raina’s number was busy for hours. I guess, others like me competing to get Mr. Raina’s attention.   8. 4th November 2010 - No visit or call was made by any LG representative. A SMS however was received stating that the service request was closed. Reason for closing as per SMS- “Customer will call again”.      I would like to state the following;   1. I , my husband or my mother was available on all days mentioned above at my residence.   2. I shall not be opening any more service requests.   3. Given the Diwali holidays, I am willing to be reasonable, but would like the call to be satisfactorily closed by 8th November evening.   4. It is obvious that the tickets (service requests) are being closed because somebody at the lower levels is fooling the top management about how “satisfactorily” the service requests are being handled. The funny part is that this person is apparently succeeding in doing this.   I am available at my mobile or residence. MS REDDY(9160018836)  The above said service engineer promised me that if we go for AMC around Rs. 2800+ every month the service engineer would come &amp; do the services based on his version i took the same dated: 28-May-2010 till date no one turned up &amp; suddenly i could able to recollect that i made a payment &amp; called call centre queried about the same however call centre executive confirmed that the same is once in three months not on month on month basis for the same when i asked already past 3 months no one visited he confirmed that we should proactively call for service. Do LG team need reminders post collecting such AMC amount, hence for the same i update the call centre executive to log a complaint against MS Reddy &amp; provide me the action taken against him, for which i received a complaint no# C10B1900872 based on the said complaint i got a call from another service engineer stating the call logged is on water INLET repair , hence i said the Engineer again repeated entire RAMAYANA, to my surprise the second service engineer states different version on AMC for which again i called Call centre repeated the same RAMAYANA but unfortunate thing is the call centre Executive said that there would not be any CALL RECORDING, what is the call centre, am being TEAM MANAGER FOR TATA INDICOM HANDLING COMPLAINT MANAGEMENT WE PROVIDE 100% CALL RECORDING TO RESOLVE CUSTOMER QUERIES,also i urged him to transfer the call to MANAGER, THAT EXECUTVIE SO RUDE Stating that he will not transfer I CAN EVEN APPROACH CONSUMER COURT ....... Hope the above said problem is too prolong, but hope you will understand &amp; if somebody from team will take the same with higher authorities of LG ELECTRONICS team &amp; arrange a call back i even have more bad experience regarding same WASHING MACHINE PRODUCT  Regards, Krishnamurthy 09246180998</description>

                 <description>Dear Manager,  We had made a service request to Videocon Call Centre, Bangalore as per details given above on 13 Nov10.After two days of our request,a technician from Global Services,RT Ngr,Bangalore,Mr Imran visited our house on 15 Nov10. He opened &amp; examined the machine but could NOT repair it since some part was required to be replaced by next day.We had to make a call to remind them on 19 Nov10 for same.Another,technician,Mr Juber landed up to our house on 20 Nov10 n he was unable to open up the machine n in turn directed us to get the washing maching to their service centre else they would charge extra for the transportation.But, No one has turned up and machine is lying unattended even after 10 days of service request made. I personally spoke to Santoshi n Gautami,Videocon Service callcentre, Bangalore at about 1535thoritieh &amp; 1742h today to apprise them about the case n delay in attending the service request.Also,to connecequest Videocon aut me to some respospible officer in charge but that did not happen as promise a call from them to me was expected. May we request the Videocon authorities to examine n investigate the facts of the matter n forward the suitable reply by email. Also,we would highly appreciate if some responsible person contact us n get our machine repaired. With Regards n Best Wishes Colonel D N Gupta,#91-9886304595 email-deeyen55@gmail.com email-d  </description>

                 <description>I have a front loading IFB washing machine. Model T2900DX. The machine is under annual maintenance contract valid upto March 2012. now extended further upto March 2014. Since July 2010, the machine is not working. There was something wrong in the cycle of events like tumble, spin etc. I had registered repeated complaints with the service center ( # 4936884, 5161169, 5417326 are few complaint numbers. ) someone will come in the name of a technicain after two or three weeks after registering the complaint but returns without solving the problem. Everytime a new person comes and starts all over again and everyone identified different problems and reasons for the fault in the machine. once they changed the timer and the problem has become much worst. Timer was changed without a line diagram in hand and I guess the connections are messed up. I have contacted the IFB service center again and again, made two written complaints and no response till date. Can you do something about it. your help is appreciated. thank you</description>
