police verification pending after 7 months of application
I applied for passport on 10-01-2011. My file no is GUWA00093411. Its been more than 7 months but no police verification took place on my address till date. Normally it takes 3-4 weeks for police to visit the address and 6-8 weeks for the passport to be issued. I just want to know the reason behind the delay or is it true that without paying BRIBE, no work is possible...!! |
