Sir,
Sub: Subscription 133239 for
Outlook magazine
Outlook magazine has made a subscription offer wherein with an assured gift for 3 years subscription and general prize for lucky winners. This offer was published in the magazines during the months continued till November 2010. I have paid a sum of ` 1799/- in a cheque on Bank of P.N.B, dt.11.11.2010 towards three years subscription for the “Outlook” magazine. I am receiving weekly magazines since then. However the assured gift offered by Outlook magazine viz Adidas Shoes worth ` 2499/- was not sent evenafter five months. Further nothing was heard about the lucky draw for the subscription / offered.
I have sent several emails and letters to the magazine’s New Delhi and Chennai offices. None of the letters has been responded. When an offer was made by a newspaper / magazine it must be honoured. Any refusal to honour the offer amounts to unfair trade practice.
I make this complaint to get a positive response from the magazine why the offer published was not honoured. The magazine did not dispute the offer published in the magazine for subscription made for three years.
Please give your positive response without delay.
