Hello sir,

This national pharmaceutical pricing authority is useless, because the government had not
Open any department in India which will provide reasonable MRP (maximum Retail Price) for medicines. Like batch number MRP is also important to protect medicine from unnecessary becoming expansive

Please arrange such department that can decide the MRP for each product according to
Purchase bill of pharmaceutical marketing companies or if they are manufacturer calculate properly the production cost. And provide the MRP along with batch numbers to the pharmaceutical company to control little bit lootmaar by pharma companies.
This is very important in poor country like India do not allow freely to anyone to print MRP on medicines whatever they want this will create more hunger for money to pharma companies

My brother has worked as Medical Representative in Pharmaceutical company and now he has his own company is purchasing eye drops from Baddi(H.P.) and Ahmedabad at the rate of Rs1.50 each + packing and transportation charges came up to Rs1.00 each + excise duty Rs 4.0 and marketing cost came Rs 1/- to 2/- each, approximately total cost came Rs 7/-to 8/- of each eye drop. And he is printing MRP Rs 87/- on each bile (eye drop packing) and Doctors also compel patients to purchase this higher cost drugs because doctors are taking commission up to Rs10 to Rs22 on each prescribed drugs. And 4-5% profit margin for chemist shop,
Remaining all amounts is profit of medicine supplier (medical suppliers called themselves companies without any manufacturing unit and earning huge profits

Recently he had launch copvit plus (B complex capsule) which he had purchase only of fifty paisa per capsule and printed MRP is Rs105 on packing of ten capsule, so much huge profit on it.

He had invest only two lacs rupees in his business and within three years he had earn
Three crore. And he always says that customer thought that the higher MRP on product means the medicine is of best quality, this is mind set of customers, whether these products are non-branded or of sub-standard.

With this huge profit he has newly build hotel at karol bagh (WEA 8A/7G Block) and there also he supplying Bear and wine to his client without any Bar license.

And almost 95% of medicine suppliers and marketing companies had stop supplying
Life saving drugs because this product gave them no profit.

So if government need that there should be no shortage of Life saving drugs, and
Medicine should available at reasonable rates, Drugs and chemical ministry has to
Increase the percentage from 300% to 500% so that greedy businessmen can take
some interest in Life saving drugs also. And make limit up to 800% margin on
General medicine {Non life saving drugs} so that the MRP cost should not reach
Higher without any reason.

Please send this idea to ministry and jaago grahak jaago{consumer form}also because
They are just showing ads on biscuits and on small items and doesn’t understand the
Main cause of increasing rate on medicine and tell us for bargaining which doesn’t work
Because Doctors prescribe and compel to purchase that particular products.

Dr. Rakhi Sharma of Mahendergarh eye Hospital (Haryana) is earning Rs 1.7 Lacs per month as commission at the rate of 22rupees on each eye drop.
